Can you imagine? Solomon had finished the Temple of the Lord which had taken 7 years to complete and it was a magnificent building. They had brought in all the gold, silver and articles that David had dedicated. Then, the Priests brought up the Ark and set it in place! It was a day like none other as they went from Tabernacle to the Temple, from temporary to permanent place for God to worshipped by His people. And, boy, didn’t they worship! The preachers were there; the singers were there; the band was there; And then God showed up and His Glory filled the Temple! Since singing can literally invite the presence of the Lord, make sure you’re not OFF KEY! What kind of singing invites the presence of the LORD?

How do I PAUSE and Be Patient? How do I PUT UP with people and Be Patient? How do I remain POSITIVE and Be Patient? How do I PUSH THROUGH (even at 5mph) and Be Patient? Biblical Patience involves ALL of those. BIBLICAL PATIENCE is waiting through the PAUSES, while remaining POSITIVE, lovingly PUTTING UP with others, but persistently PUSHING THROUGH! 2020 has definitely taught us PATIENCE! Patience will make you pause even when you don’t want to pause. Since life with all its tears and triumphs happen in God’s timing, HURRY UP and WAIT!

What a night to remember! It was a HOLY night as Jesus Christ was in deep prayer and communion with His Father (vv.32-41- don’t show on screens), God Almighty, about the cross and the cup of suffering He was about to drink. It was a HEAVY night as Jesus Christ literally would be deceived by a disciple, deserted by everyone and even denied by His closest and strongest disciple, Peter. But for one young man, it was a HORRIBLE and HUMILIATING NIGHT! Can you imagine the Facebook post or the Twitter? No doubt Snapchat would have loved the picture. I’m talking viral! I’m talking double header Steve Harvey show – Flying Preacher and Streaking Member: What will they do next in church? Yes, this was no Fake News, no Bogus Post, no Revenge Doctored Video. Although we don’t know his name, because Mark was the only gospel writer to record, some believe it was Mark, himself.

What a Moment Now – the church has been given today. In the midst of pandemics and plagues, of injustices and inequalities, of hatred and hostilities, of unrest and unimaginable, the church has been called on in this MOMENT to Speak Life, to Save Souls, to Strengthen Homes and to Stop the Funerals!
