We have hope because we believe Jesus has power over the grave. He had to suffer and die because the creation that He loved was held captive by the power of satan and death. But He rose again, and this is the reason we celebrate. The reason we are alive. The reason we hope!

What expectations would you have for a Savior? If Jesus doesn't do what you expect Him to, do you write Him off, or do you seek Him in His word? The Bible tells us exactly who Christ is, and it's up to us to build our lives around Him. Here's how.

What is the greatest commandment in the law? The Pharisees sought to trap Jesus, desperate to get rid of Him. It's a great question, and in His answer, Jesus silenced them, demonstrated what real love is, and at the same time issued a command to us.

We'll continue to look at Christ, the source of true power. While our current situation may make us feel helpless, we must trust in the power of God, and we'll see in God's word the power we do have when we KNOW GOD!

As Jesus nears the day of His crucifixion, His teaching becomes more pointed. At the end of his Parable of the Wedding Feast, He states "many are invited, few are chosen." What does He mean by this? Come Sunday to hear how we can be clothed with Christ, and be among the guests at the banquet.

When Christ returns and we stand before Him, how will He find us? Will we be faithful to the calling He has placed on us, or will we be devoid of the fruit he expects us bear? We'll look at the Parable of the Bad Tenants as we continue toward the story of Christ's death, burial and Resurrection.

"Who does this Jesus think He is?" The religious leaders of Jesus' time asked impatiently and angrily. He knew that he threatened their system and way of life. We as believers today must also reconcile this question of who Christ is. Will we follow Him as Lord and let him change our way of life?

“May you never bear fruit again!” Christ cursed a fig tree that was not bearing fruit, and it withered. How can we as individuals and as a Church be sure we are bearing the fruit God has created us to produce? Join us Sunday at 9 and 11!
