"An eye for an eye," we've heard it said, which is stated in the Old Testament. Vengeance and retaliation are often the first things on our minds when we've been wronged. But what does Christ tell us in Matthew 5? All of us have been wronged at some point in our lives. Do we just roll over and allow ourselves or our pride be injured?

Though we may make our plans and predictions, there's only one Person who knows and holds the future. Because of this, it's not within our power to swear oaths to what we can and cannot do in the future. Join us for an eye-opening message on what we are really communicating when we say "I swear..."
