Good Friday is a time of remembrance of what it cost the Lord Jesus Christ to secure our salvation. He took on a human body, was beaten and murdered out of men's hatred for Him, out of His devotion to God, and out of His love for you and me. We will learn tonight why Christ's act of loving sacrifice was enough to make our relationship right with God...once and for all.

"You Do You." It's a mantra continually repeated by a world that encourages us to live our own individual truth. But is that what God wants? How does God redeem those who have followed this mindset and rescue from the devastation it causes?

We begin our series in the dramatic and compelling book of Daniel. As we follow this young man through the course of his time in captivity in Babylon, we'll get a sharp picture of what it looks like to remain faithful to God even while living in an environment that not only ignores God, but is openly hostile to Him. By following Daniel's godly example, we'll see its possible to have a positive influence on that society.

We conclude our series in Acts seeing that Paul has finally made it to Rome, having come through unimaginable hardships all the while. Paul believed that in spite of the treacherous journey he faced, that God was with him and would remain faithful. When we entrust our lives, our circumstances, our suffering to God, we can see that He is faithful to us, giving us a freedom and a living faith in Him.

We're quick to think God has forgotten us in times of suffering, when quite the opposite is true. Paul endured rejection, beatings, arrests, imprisonment, hunger and a devastating shipwreck on the way to being used and refined miraculously by God. Paul trusted that the calling on his life was worth the cost. How do we get there?

Most of us are in the middle of navigating a storm of some kind. Typically our first action is to attempt to navigate raging seas on our own strength. Could it be that these storms are used by God to show us how helpless we are without his strength? Will we turn from our striving and trust him? What do you need to surrender?

We continue in our series on the compelling narratives of the fledgling church in the book of Acts. All are welcome for a time of worship through singing, encouraging each other, reading and teaching from God's Word. We've got a seat for you and anyone you would invite to join us.
