We will be confronted with various things and our view will determine how we respond. It’s rare to go through an entire day and not be confronted with any challenges. The key is not to get pulled into the negativity but keep our minds on God's Word and His promises.

In this second episode, we discuss how God is in control of every second of our day and nothing happens without it first passing by Him. Believing and applying God's word holds a wide range of possibilities as we go throughout our days.

In this episode, the question is asked, "just because we are Christians does it mean we can place our prayers, worship, and spiritual living on an automatic setting?" Is there a remote function that we use to toggle which trials we go through and which ones we don't? Can we change the temperature of our adversities by pressing a switch?

Can you recall a special moment where you expressed just how much your special people meant to you? The greatest expression of love that cannot be topped or matched was the giving of God’s only begotten Son, Jesus Christ (John 3:16).

We can speak and plan what kind of day that we want to have. We don’t have to be on the defensive, we can be on the offensive by initiating and investing into our joy today. We don’t have to wait to see how things will turnout today. We can take charge and be determined that we are going to soar by setting our minds on things above (Col. 3:1-2).

It's easy to stop, back up, or turn around and go the other way when things become difficult. However, you don't have to concede to your circumstances because your Heavenly Father is holding you up and He is right there with you!

Living in a world filled with doubt and unbelief it can adversely affect us if we allow its philosophies to fill our minds. We must remember to keep our trust and faith in the Lord.

We don’t discuss our challenges these days for many reasons for example, who do we talk to? Who do we trust? Who has time to listen? Or We just keep moving. No time to talk. It’s all a part of life, right? There is someone who does have the time to listen and cares deeply. He is your heavenly Father. As you go throughout the day take time to share your concerns with Him (Ps. 62:1-2).

One of the things we must be thankful for is how we have changed for the better since the Lord Jesus has been in our lives. Look at how far we have come as His followers? Let’s spend the day thinking about how good the Lord has been to us. How things in our lives could have turned out worse had it not been for His mercy and grace (1 Thess. 5:16-18).
