Pastor Thom Keller discusses the book of Habakkuk in the Bible. The prophet Habakkuk challenges God for his actions that seem to contradict the covenant with Israel. The role of a prophet was to remind the people if they strayed from the covenant and urge them to return, but Habakkuk instead questions God's response. He also questions God's tolerance of sin and the prevalence of violence and injustice in society. The psalms also showcase how it is acceptable to challenge and question God. The video encourages the audience to reflect on whether it is right to challenge God and how it can possibly provide us with insight into understanding His ways.
