Today our choir will perform their musical called "Victors Crown". A production along with a drama focusing on the life of a couple struggling in their marriage and on the verge of just ending it all. That is until they hear about a man named Jesus who could change their marriage, purpose, and lives.

As we bring our look at the problem of the cross to a close, today we'll see that God brings to nothing the things the godless world thinks are powerful, wise, and of no value and uses the things the world considers worthless and foolish.

As we continue to explore the problem of the cross, today we'll be looking at 1 Corinthians 1:21-25. What we'll see is the wisdom of God displayed in the cross of Christ and in the simple proclamation of Christ crucified.

As we continue our journey toward the celebration of Easter, this week we're looking at the "Problem of the Cross." We'll be looking at a passage that often is skipped over or is often misunderstood, 1 Corinthians 1:17-31. Today we'll begin with verses 17-20 and we'll see that God promised to nullify the wisdom of this age by doing something new the world would consider foolish but would reveal God's wisdom and power.
