This is Part 1 of Papa Mark teaching the family about the characteristics of an Apostolic Revival Culture. If we are to receive new wine, we must focus on the structure or wineskin that is capable of receiving it. This begins with an understanding that we must be foundational, governmental, and operating in the order of fathers and sons.
Learn about how Jesus and the Apostles explained apostolic government within the church and relationships. This is not a message you will hear many places but it's absolutely essential if we expect to be carriers of new wine. We by no means feel we know exactly what it is supposed to look like, but we do believe we have found the path that will lead to its ultimate manifestation.
In this message, Papa Mark goes back into the call of Abram found in Genesis chapter 12. If we are to finish the exchange and enter into this Kingdom life then we are required to leave it all behind, your native land, your people, and your father's household. We are required to put our will on the altar and empty ourselves of our cultural ideas. But why?
Let this message encourage those who are the journey of leaving everything they know to explore this new path of devotion to Jesus.
At the end of 2019, Apostle Damon Thompson called us back to the feet of Jesus, to a greater commitment to alignment with spiritual authority, and to a stronger parental commitment. In this message, Papa Mark talks to us from the story of Abraham on how important it is to finish the exchange so that we can see the next generation correctly.
Could it be that our commitment to intentional parenting is the key to rescuing cities and forming nations? Can you get so free from your past that Yahweh entrusts you with the ability to create a culture that will one day shape nations?
Listen to this message as Pastor Mark opens his heart in vulnerability to strengthen our family through the lessons he has learned in being weak in the place of devotion. Many today are being drawn into the next dimension of proximity and what holds us back is our propensity to default back into a performance orientation to see if we qualify.
If there is anything that we can learn in this one thing pursuit is that it takes God to know God. Striving will not get us to higher places on the mountain of devotion, we are required to surrender in order to be carried to places we thought were undiscoverable in the nature of Abba. This message is for those who need to be healed from the fickle heart and the answer for the fickle heart is an encounter with the steadfast love of Abba.
In this episode, you will hear from both Papa Mark and one of the sons of the house, Andrew Mindy, share about a life of stewarding encounters. Enjoy!
"For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him." - 2 Timothy 2:4 TPT
In a recent service in Carolina Revival, Our Apostle, Damon Thompson, encouraged us all to go home and divorce ourselves from the distractions that hinder sitting at the feet of Jesus. At the Shepherd's Tent, we believe it is our responsibility to shepherd the apostolic word and lead people into this life of devotion.
In light of that word, Papa Mark shares several examples from scripture of how distractions are to be dealt with from the perspective of the Kingdom.
We have begun a new year with a significant outpouring happening in Kannapolis, NC, with our Apostle, Damon Thompson, and our Kingdom family from all over the nation. In light of what the Lord is doing, Pastor Mark asked the Lord a question, "How do we honor what is happening in Kannapolis and steward well what we were sent to Covington to establish?"
That one question led to several hours where Abba began to remove the last shreds of old wineskin thinking about church and structure. We must shift into the apostolic grace and order of raising sons, not just attending services. The place and time become irrelevant, and in the freedom of not thinking like American Christians, a glorious family emerges with an elevated yes to the lifestyle of devotion to Jesus and hosting His Presence extravagantly.
Instead of saying, come to our church, we should be able to say, follow me as I follow Christ.
We continue our journey deeper into Luke 16 and the Parable of the Dishonest Manager. While I long to see everyone ascend into the portals of mystical encounters with Jesus, I believe those true encounters that birth cosmic transformation is for lose willing to be led into greater maturity and character.
Listen to Pastor Mark as he breaks down this parable to reveal our hearts when our stewardship is called into question. Will we respond as slaves or sons? Will we try to hatch schemes to secure our future or trust that Abba wants to father us into an inheritance?
Listen to Part 2 of last week's message from Papa Mark where he begins preparing the family for increase. Integrity is key. Yahweh takes us through the process to reveal and affirm the most authentic version of you because what is in us will ultimately be what we reproduce.
How important is the integrity of your heart? We believe allowing Holy Spirit to develop our character can hasten the coming of the Lord.
In this message, Papa Mark shares with the family a word on ordering your family and finances the Kingdom way. We need to understand the Biblical order of men taking their place as priests of their home and understanding their role of leading, loving, and caring for their wives. Also, Papa Mark shares that Biblical financial stewardship is not something that should be assumed, we need fathers who will teach a generation these simple, yet powerful truths.
