Has our relationship with God become just a series of checkboxes, style without substance? God wants so much more than that for us, and he'll stop at nothing to draw us closer to him. What does a meaningful, holistic relationship with God look like?

For the OT part of our SOAP’s this week, we are in Jerimiah. It is brutal. God’s critique of the people is Jerusalem is as unrelenting as the judgement that actually did happen. How do we reconcile with a loving God? Turns out the answer to that is one of the most amazing object lessons in all of human history. Buckle up, this is going to be a wild ride, but just wait till we get to our destination… Breathtaking...

Looking at that title, you might think it is at least a bit of an overstatement. Experience the depths of why it is not this Sunday. And If it is not, wow is this important!!!!

Did you know that the "P" in P. Curtis Brunk stands for Paul? Given that my namesake is Paul, the writer of much of the New Testament, you might think I would have an affinity for him. But, like most people, I found him to be demanding and doctrinaire, not really a people person. So while I was in awe of Him, he wasn't on my top 10 list of people to hang with. Until God showed me who Paul really is/was. Then I fell in love with him. And better, God opened an entirely new dimension to me. Experience it this Sunday!
