"The process has begun and I'm just posting this because I think this is something that is going to happen. More and more writers, this is a new side hustle for you. Possibly waiting something to consider. I don't know after writing 40 books whether moving into cinema is a good idea. But it's definitely a challenge. It's definitely something interesting. And worst comes to worst, the film will not be screened at hands. It will not win an Oscar."

"They may of course convert their novels into screenplays and all these different formats telling the same story. Sometimes you could even think of converting a story into a poem into the poetic format. I think it's enjoyable, it's worthwhile, as long as it's the writer's own material. Nothing is sacrosanct. Earlier it used to be that, oh, once you published a novel, then you can't really change it."

"I have to say at this juncture also that quite often authors cannot choose their own title very well. It's one thing to write a book, it's another thing to make a title. Some people can make better, better titles than authors can. An author may know his book very well, but he may not have, he may not have the talent for that, you know, special catchphrase, that title."

"And meditation does not mean that you just disconnect Anyhow, such are the travails of an author looking for a suitable title for his book. I thought I'd just share this with you in terms of the trials and tribulations of a writer while searching for the perfect title for a certain book. Because titles are hugely important. Let's not underestimate the importance of a title. It's like choosing the name of a rock band. I mean, if you think about it, the Beatles."

"Not that one does it only for the benefits, but of course the benefits do matter. It's always good to have recognition. It's always good to make some money also from the writing. So. Well, this is an expansion on my previous talk and I hope it will satisfy the people."

"Hi. On my writing journey, I should say that if I start right from the beginning I was in school and I was never ahead of the class. I was not in the first 10, say in a class of 60. Neither was I a backbencher. I was somewhere in the middle. But then we had in class nine or something like that, essay class introduced. And this was the idea which the English teacher had that every fortnight let's just have an essay."

"And then one of my mother's friends, she said, oh well, he can go and see Dr. Rajesh Talwar who's in Jalwayu Bihar. I should mention that this is one thing more we had in common. We were both in defense sectors. I stay in Arun Bihar, which is the army sector, and Dr. Rajesh Talwar stayed in Jalwayu Vihar. It's a distance of about a short 10 minute drive. And I considered going to him or to his wife for my dental problem."

"It probably makes sense for me also while introducing myself to explain that there are two Rajesh Talwars who are well known in India. My namesake Rajesh Talwar is much, much better known than I am. He was involved in the Aarushi killing of. He was accused, I believe falsely of the murder of his daughter. I have written a book on it. His name is actually he has a title, Dr. Rajesh Talwar which I don't have as on date. We have a few things in common."

"It has always intrigued me as a writer why television serials with mother in law themes are so popular, but why there are so few books within India on this particular conflict. So I look forward to talking about other books which are also in the pipeline, including one which has a working title, Bollywood, Hollywood and the Future of World Cinema. But that's it for me right now. I look forward to engaging with you very soon in greater detail and at greater length."
