  "Homo sanity here from the Homo sanity show. This is funny and probably not surprising. Costco is very popular here in Michigan. My funny story is. Well, I don't know. There's a couple stories here, I guess with this. My mom used to be one of the food demo people, and one thing is a yde educator. For a while, my mom was making more money than me, which is wild. They pay the food demo people pretty good money."

  "I just don't, I'm never in one place long enough to really take advantage of buying something in bulk. It'll just go bad. If I buy meats, fruits or vegetables, it's just going to go bad. I can't do it. I can't buy in that big of a quantity. So I know exactly what I'm going in there for now. I would say that the biggest thing that I buy there are the Kirkland brand sparkling waters."

  "I go in and out of different schools, pulling my students as needed for their lessons, or I go into their classroom and assist them in that manner. So I go to many different schools. I see many different things. Now, for my students, some of my visually impaired students, they have what's called low vision, so they can see somewhat, but they don't have a full visual field."

  "I like to know when they're in the school zone with life 360, when they're on their way home. So to me, that's all very helpful. Tools and technology, but teaching kids how to use tools and technology, because the tools and technology, they're not going away. If anything, they keep getting more advanced and just more present. So we have to learn the etiquette around those tools and technology so that they can use them successfully."

  "We had the ones you push the buttons on, you know? Your parents didn't get you a cell phone. You know, you were lucky if you had one when you graduated from high school. I remember my first cell phone. I got it when I was 19 years old. Well, I think I remember I had a pager first, and then I got a cell phone. I think I was, like, 19 when I got my first cell phone."

  "If your email inbox is anything like mine, you have been inundated lately with emails asking for donations. One of the first things I do when I get up in the morning, I look at my email. Any email that's asking for money, I promptly delete. Even had one from a couple of nonprofits today. And it just seems like everybody has their hand out these days asking for money and donations to political causes."

  "I thought they had some great topics, really took it to a place where if you couldn't really grasp it and it angered you, then there's an issue there. And if there was somewhere in there, you got offended. That's, you know, you're. That's your right. But at the end of the day, at the end of the day, where does that come from? And is. That's something that is just unavoidable, right?"

  "So what it boils down to is, I guess, being more, more hands on, more aware, versus having a system put in place, right. Having it where if a student is using their phone outside of the standards or the rules, then what do you do? You must get the parent involved. You must let them know, because they need to know that they can't use the phone during class time."
