This past Monday, Kurt Marschke and JD Mack of The Deadstring Brothers were kind enough to spend a little time with me. We sat down prior to their show at the Rumba Cafe in Columbus, Ohio.
Kurt played a few songs and the three of us talked about the making of Cannery Row, their beginnings in Detroit, JD joining the band among other things.
We recorded this on the patio so there is some background noise on the recording including planes coming in to land at the Columbus Airport.
