Do you find that yourself having a hard time finding enjoyment of life because you are not letting go of the past? Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV) says, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." But if we are constantly looking to the past and holding to past experiences, it will trap us in a endless cycle that keeps us from living in the present. 

I want you to take a moment to sit, meditate and reflect on this question: are you filtering your current circumstances through the lens of your past? Because if you are, it is time to break free from that mindset and recognize that the past does not dictate your future. If not, you will be be recreating the same future as you had in the past.  

It is time to let go so that you can move forward in life. I challenge you to stop looking back at the past. Ask God to give you wisdom and guidance to strengthen you so that you can have enjoyment of life. 

I want you to make a decision today that you will no longer be looking to the past because you have let go and have freedom from the past. I pray this encourages you.
