In today’s episode, we talk about Jesus’ building healthy conflict with his “leadership team”, his twelve disciples. Jesus is able to engage in healthy conflict with his disciples because he has built vulnerability-based trust with them. We contrast building vulnerability-based trust with the opposite of this practice as seen in the Los Angeles Lakers.
We also talk about how Jesus is like a “dream giver”. This is not in a phony way, but he does many times fulfill dreams that stem from our holy desires.
The Scripture passages referenced in this episode are from the RSV and are Luke 1:41-49, John 6:60-69, Matthew 14:26-33, and John 16:16-20.
