Hey there, mama. I see you trying to smile for your kiddos. I see you trying to enjoy this life you've been given. But sometimes it's tough. Sometimes, life throws things at you that make parenting seem like a burden that's too heavy to bear. So what do we do? How do we take steps to cultivate joy in motherhood? How do we reignite the heart of a dreamer inside of our weary mama souls? How do we stop the negative thoughts about ourselves that are rolling around inside our heads? Let's talk about these things together today!

Today we are going to talk about the importance of self-care in the life of a God-dreamer. Is there a biblical precedent for this concept? Did you know that your wellness is important to God, and that taking care of yourself will, in fact, make you much more able to do all that God has called you to do? Let's talk this through and be holistically healthy God-dreamers!!

What if the winds of the storms we face are actually taking us where we need to go? What if the detours aren’t actually detours, but paths to our divinely ordained destinations? Jesus is the I AM, He is the King of Kings and He ever-present and guiding our way. Do we believe this even when we’re fighting against winds and waves? Dreamer - your detour due to a storm may actually be taking you where you were meant to be all along…

When you experience heartache in your life, it can be very difficult to see beyond the haze and have compassion for others. This is a human and understandable response, but there's this story about Jesus that snagged my attention this week - a story about miracles that happened when He chose to have compassion and minister to others who were hurting during a time in His life when he was very much hurting as well. This passage encouraged and challenged me so much, and I wanted to share it with you. I hope you feel strengthened. Remember - if your heart is broken, it doesn't mean YOU are broken. In fact, it means you're human, you have a soft heart, and something powerful might happen right there in the midst of your pain. That's the Jesus life, and oh, He is good.

When you ask yourself the question, "what do I want most?" what is your answer? Be honest with yourself. In today's podcast we look at Moses's interaction with God in Exodus 33 and discover what Moses wanted more than anything else - the presence of God - and how he was willing to sacrifice his every hope and dream, everything he had fought for and longed for, in exchange for this presence of the One He loved more than anything or anyone esle. It's a truly beautiful exchange, and one I hope sparks a flame in each one of us today...

Each of us has specific gifts and skills given to us by the grace of God. When the Holy Spirit infuses these gifts, He can use them for incredible things in His Kingdom. He also enables us to pass these gifts and skills on to the next generation. What an incredible privilege! What is it that we're investing into and teaching those who are coming up behind us? Will we partner with the Holy Spirit to cultivate and multiply what He has given us?

Seasons of refinement are absolutely necessary if you want to fully live out the calling God has for your life. It's not easy, but it's so worth it. The good news is - God never leaves us alone. He's with us in every heartache, in every trial, in every moment of suffering. He is with us, and He is doing something beautiful, whether we can see it right now or not. Will we choose to trust Him?

Last week we talked about speaking the Word over the dead things in our lives and seeing the miracle of muscle and skin being attached to those dead bones. Today, we talk about the power of prayer, and how it allows the breath of God to come into our miracles - animating them with His power and His life. This is the stuff we should be tenaciously pursuing as believers and God-dreamers. I'm so excited for you to join me as we study this amazing word from Ezekiel together!!

We all know that there is power in words. But do we realize how much power there is in The Word...the Word of God? If we could really grasp this, I think it would blow our minds and completely change our relationships, our jobs, our homes...our realities. Let's venture into the valley of dry bones together and see what miracles may await us there...
