Mat Chats - Keri recommitted to her yoga practice and this strength is showing up throughout her business and family. Bobbi is knee deep in operating businesses and Namaste is on FIRE with new student growth. Jamie shares how grateful she is for family friend connections.
Keri found yoga through a friend, took one class and dove straight into yoga teacher training. She quit her corporate job, decided to be a full-time yoga teacher and opened a studio. These transitions opened doors and eventually transitioned her into growing and thriving in her coaching business. If you’re interested in learning more or working with Keri, head to her podcast or check her out on instagram.
Keri shares how important a personal practice is for new (and seasoned) yoga teachers. Awareness and discipline can help reduce burnout and get clear about what you want for your teaching. New teachers - be okay with messing up and give yourself grace to develop and build confidence. Also, be okay with holding silent space and humanizing the yoga experience.
Keri loves pigeon, a morning practice and she loves the Carl Jung quote, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life and you will call it fate.”
Pose wars - humble warriors vs. low lunge with a back bend. No question - Keri loves the low lunge with a back bend.
Wellness wins - spiritual fasting for Keri, Bobbi is focusing on eating different foods for breakfast and Jamie is focusing on going to bed earlier.
Weekly Intentions - Jamie is going to create some space and time to do things around the home, Keri is continuing on and Bobbi is switching up breakfast.
