Malaysia conducts Tamil research with a global standard. Malaysia has excellent Tamil scholars and writers to its credit. Asha Kumaran narrates,  as a life long member of Malaysian Tamil Writer's Association, its origin, growth and present status. Asha is a freelance Tamil activist, poet and feminist.
