  • Biblical Road Trip - Bowls, Horns, Beasts, 666 - Wow!
This Sunday we near the end of our year long journey through the Bible. It’s been quite a ride! The Book of Revelation is one of those books you could spend a whole year on alone. For our purposes this Sunday we are just going to give you a clear overview of this very weighty book.
World renown theologians have been studying Revelation for centuries and there is just as much disagreement on its contents now, as when it was first written in A.D. 96.
Join us this week and see what God reveals to you about the Revelation of Christ.

  • Biblical Road Trip - Dear John Letters
Have you ever been in a relationship and received a “Dear John” letter? I dated a girl all through high school, joined the Air Force right after graduation, and received my Dear John/Rick letter two weeks into Basic Training - broke my heart.
This week as we preview 1st, 2nd, & 3rd John, we are going to look at a scripture you hear me quoting often - 1 John 1:9. I get asked often, “If we have been forgiven for past, present, & future sins, why do we still need to ask for forgiveness?” It all comes down to a broken relationship and a broken heart that needs to be restored.
Hope you’ll join us Sunday and learn how to heal “His” heart and “Your” relationship.

  • Biblical Road Trip - Peter: What a Life!
They say you can tell a lot about a person and what they’re thinking just by watching the way they live. I also believe you can tell a lot about a person by watching the way they die.
Tradition has it, that while in Rome the Apostle Peter was crucified upside-down. Historians say that, when Peter was put to death, he requested to be crucified on an inverted cross. The reason for his request — because he had denied his Lord, he did not consider himself worthy to die as Jesus had.
Does our life say more about us, or more about Jesus?

  • Power of a Dad's Words
Last Sunday I read a section from James 3 on the power of the tongue. This Sunday for Father’s Day we are going to watch and hear a very powerful message from 2 men who really understand the power of a Man’s tongue.
There are very few people we’ll ever meet that have the ability to transform us the way our parents do (or don’t). This is especially true when it comes to our fathers. The words they impart, or not, stay with us our whole life. Please join us this Sunday and you’ll understand why.

  • Biblical Road Trip - James: Watch your Tongue!
This week we are going to look at a very practical book in the Bible that deals with several important principles of our faith. Some of those topics include the words we say, trials & temptations, how to pray and why some of our prayers aren’t answered.
One of the main topics is how our Faith & Deeds compliment verses compete with one another (after all, genuine faith should and will be accompanied by a consistent life-style).

  • Biblical Road Trip - Hebrews: A Book of Contrasts
This Sunday we’ll continue our journey through the Bible by looking at the Book of Hebrews. This is a powerful book that vividly shows the distinct contrasts between life under the old covenant verses life under the new covenant.
Anyone who reads this book will find great hope and peace as we live out our new lives under Grace, verses under the Law and works.

  • Biblical Road Trip - How Should WE Behave
Unlike most other letters we’ve studied up to this point, 1st & 2nd Timothy & Titus are addressed to individuals. All three have a teaching purpose: They describe the characteristics of an effective church leader, as well as healthy ways all of us should treat one another.
There is much to learn in these three letters so I hope you’ll join us this Sunday as we learn how to love each other better.

  • Biblical Road Trip - 1st & 2nd Thessalonians
This Sunday we will be back on our Biblical Road Trip and it finds us in the Books of 1st & 2nd Thessalonians. These books are not long in text, but they give great hope to those who are suffering or being persecuted for their faith.
God uses Paul to not only encourage the Church at Thessalonica, but to encourage all of us who are Christ followers to the very end. It is with the end in mind that we should find our greatest joy in this life. You will find out why this Sunday.

  • Happy Mother's Day!
One thing we all know we have in common is we all have a mother. For most, she was a woman who did the best she could to provide a loving and nurturing home. Perfect? No. Always right? Not really. However, what she may have lacked at times in experience or wisdom, she made up for in being there when you needed her most.
Hope you will join us this Sunday as we encourage moms and moms to be with a message of grace, hope, & wisdom for the years ahead.
