This was the first half of a conversation Kam and I had regarding the meta of MCOC and Future Fight. We published the Meta discussion first but this was really the conversation I was excited to have because the MCOC grind can be so invading to your life I have been wondering if there are any similar games out there that wouldn't take over my life. Future Fight definitely sounds promising!

I have always been impressed with Kam's detailed knowledge of the game and the insights he has to the meta and also the influence he has had in actually changing the meta with experimentation at the highest level of the game. He was kind enough to sit down and talk to me for a few hours and record a podcast. I hope you enjoy it!

If there are any redditors in the audience there is a new subreddit moderated by Kam called "MCOC TheoryCrafting" and it is an amazing place where he, along with others are fostering the best part of this game...trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Thanks so much to MoistVL for the great conversation. I’ve found that he has a ton of in game knowledge and generally is very methodical and calculating in his thought and decision processes. A great person to get advice from! This was some audio I recorded weeks and weeks ago that was lost to me but I recently found it and thought it was a good conversation, especially for some of you more impulsive players out there who like to pull the trigger on rankups super quickly. As always feedback on the podcast format is appreciated as I learn the ropes.

So this is the first potentially controversial media I've ever uploaded. What I wanted to get out of this was to get for myself and anyone who listened a good look at what the inside of these alliances look like, as well as the mindset of the members and leadership. I did NOT want to be rude and judge this person because at the end of the day this is just a game and I think we all could benefit from staying a bit calmer during these discussions.
