With the punishment of professional Hearthstone player Blitzchung (a ban of one year at the time of recording) for his support of the Hong Kong protests, Blizzard has been a bit of a PR nightmare. This comes at an odd time and non-serendipitous time for Blizz, who has arguably had a rough year and a half.
