Welcome to October, a month that is widely considered as one of the most spiritually advantageous times of the year across many spiritual traditions. It can be for us a time of identifying and surrendering self-limiting beliefs and habits that no longer serve our intention to spiritually awaken. I invite you to join us each Sunday as together we journey through October’s theme: “How You Label It Is How It Manifests.”
The October 4, 2026 topic is No One Else Is Our Problem. If we take an honest look at our habitual mindsets, we will no doubt discover that we devote a good deal of time pondering how others should shape-up. Yet in truth, no one else is our problem. The Science of Mind teachings invite us to turn the searchlight upon ourselves, work with our own consciousness and shift our inner world to one of clarity, harmony, and peace.
Warm greetings and a happy Labor Day to you all! To our Jewish spiritual community members, I wish a joyous Rosh Hashana and a good final sealing on Yom Kippur. Our theme for the month of September is “Practices for Living in Spiritual Alignment.” I look forward to sharing with you how making the commitment to live in alignment with Spirit’s Universal Principles results in an ever-deepening fulfillment of each of our unique soul-journeys.
The September 27, 2026 topic is Life’s Preservers: Perception, Perseverance, Persistence. Mental perceptions interpret and construct our reality. Perseverance motivates us to act in spite of obstacles, and persistence keeps us on course with a chosen action. These “life preservers” make it obvious that what is required to fulfill our inner vision for our lives is already included in the vision itself! Are you ready to embrace and live in this truth?

The September 20, 2026 topic is The Art of Patience. There are times and circumstances in which we need to be reminded to be more patient with ourselves, not to mention others! Remember the phrase, “Patience is a virtue”? First written in 1360, it is as applicable today as it was then. In this age of instant gratification, being patient allows us to be mindful, breathe lighter, release stress, and respond with grace and ease.

The September 13, 2026 topic is Peace, Poise and Power. We evolve our inherent self-empowerment when we add peace and poise to the equation. All three of these inner qualities are interconnected, building and ever-expanding one another. When we activate them in our everyday life circumstances, we act with clarity, discernment, integrity and compassion.

Today, as we advance with clarity and joy on our path, we will explore and embody the prayer principle in Ernest Holmes’s teaching that “the answer to the prayer is in the prayer when it is prayed.”
