When we look at just one aspect, science and technology, we can see how Christianity has not only affected society, but greatly transformed it.

All technologies and inventions were invented somewhere. But, do we connect the dots as to where the majority of these developments have come from? As Impact 360 Institute recounts varying industries, from mathematics, to physics, and chemistry were impacted by brilliant thinkers. “The vast majority of these brilliant scientists, nearly every single one of them, were Christians.” The powerful perspective of this was the thought processes of these remarkable individuals. “Since the universe was created by a rational creator, using rational rules, it ought to yield its secrets to rational creatures using reason and observation.”

This is so important! In today’s culture, if one desires to excel in the realm of science, it would seem that they would deny the existence of our Creator. This is so important to understand. When many people talk about and quote Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., they forget that he was also Reverend Dr. Martin Luther, Jr. Interestingly enough, that is often omitted in conversations. When we read the letter he wrote from the Birmingham Jail, we can see how Christian minded he was.

Dark Stains of Christianity Occurred when people left Teachings of Jesus

Often, when people bring up Christianity, the Dark Ages are often expressed as a rebuttal; the Salem Witch Hunts, the Crusades, etc. What people don’t often realize is that these chapters of history were often carried out by those who left the teachings of Jesus. Instead of basing our beliefs of Christianity on those who “represented” Jesus, we simply need to look at the one whose teachings Christianity is based upon, Jesus Christ.

Rabbi’s Fatal Knifing to the Heart; 29-Year-old Rabbi stabbed to death by a radical Islamic terrorist

It is important that in our daily routines we keep our hearts toward Israel. So much of what happens within Israel is not reported, and what is, is most often reported with a wrong perspective. The Jewish people are continually persecuted for the simple reason that they are Jewish. This has once again been the case when a 29-year-old Rabbi was stabbed to death when he was calmly standing on the side of the road waiting for a bus.

As CBN News reports, “The 29-year-old rabbi and father of four who was stabbed to death in a violent terror attack Monday afternoon was laid to rest Tuesday morning.” The terror attack occurred in Har Bracha of Judea and Samaria, which is the present area of the West Bank. It is because of this attack and the response of praise from the Palestinian Authority, that has cause President Trump to put the $225 Million on the table, regarding peace talks with the Palestinian Authority. If they refuse to stop funding and praising terrorists, the money will be taken off of the table.

People are coming against Israel and the Jewish people thinking that their attacks are a good thing. Israel is the only democracy in the region. These horrific actions are what happens when people are allowed in your country that do not assimilate to your values and ideals. How are you standing with Israel? We want to hear from you.

5th Time Olympian; Olympic Snowboarder Kelly Clark’s Planning Suicide, but…

As many around the nation and the world are watching the Winter Olympic Games unfold in Pyeong Chang, South Korea, many different athletes are demonstrating phenomenal talents. For those who are familiar with the sport of snowboarding, the name of Kelly Clark is a recognizable name. As a professional snowboarder, men, in the same sport, acknowledge that Kelly’s ability far surpasses their own abilities. “Kelly goes bigger than a lot of guys in half pipe. She goes bigger than I go in half pipe. That’s for sure.”

Clark’s talents have definitely put her ahead of the curve as she won the Olympic Gold in 2002 at Salt Lake City when she was only 18 years old. “I was living the dream…Every kid that dreams of being a pro snowboarder, I had it made.” Everything may have appeared to be glamour and success on the outside, but what was happening on the inside for Kelly was just the opposite. “On the inside, I wasn’t really satisfied because no matter what I did, nothing was fulfilling me, even all the success that I could strive for.” It was this desperation of emptiness that went on for two years.

At the end of herself, Clark simply couldn’t take it anymore. As she was writing in her journal, she expressed her intentions for her life even though she appeared so ‘successful’. “I was writing about…if I didn’t wake up tomorrow…I was fine with that, and I didn’t think anybody cared about me. And, I didn’t think anybody would care if I didn’t wake up tomorrow.” This couldn’t be all that there was for her. “I was writing about, if this was what life was, like if that’s what it was, like, I was done with life.” What she didn’t know was that she was about to get the hope she was searching for.

In the middle of a competition, Clark saw another competitor fall. That competitor encouraged her with these powerful words; “That’s alright. God still loves you.” Clark shares how this rocked her thinking. “Just hearing that statement gave me this hope that God loves you. Maybe God loves me.” After finding out where the girl was who said this, Clark visited her. “Hey, my name is Kelly. I think you might be a Christian and I think you need to tell me about God.” Clark continues to share how what she heard totally contradicted what she thought being a Christian was all about.

Maybe that’s you. You’ve been thinking about ending your life because the things have become too much for you. Or, what you thought would fulfill you ended up being empty and hollow. We were just the tools God chose to use to get the job done.”

This is so powerful. It matters how we handle the little things in life. How can God entrust us with more in this world if we are being careless with what He has presently entrusted to us? When we consider the words that we speak every day, it matters if we are speaking hope over those around us and over the situations in our lives, versus speaking complaints and negativity. How we carry ourselves in business, and in every relationship matters. We should never seek to be satisfied with simply 100%, but to deliver beyond what is expected. This is such an important truth in business. Why do people underdeliver, or simply deliver to meet expectations at all? Don’t settle for providing or producing 100%. If you want the promotion, if you want the raise, you must give %110. You must give beyond what is expected. You must overdeliver. It doesn’t matter if you are working with the owner of a company. When you overdeliver and exceed their expectations, that is going to be a memorable encounter they will never forget.

Iran launches Drone over Israel; Iran Celebrating 39th Year of Ayatollah?

WAR GAMES? Israel’s SWIFT Response to Iranian Drone Sent over Israel, Israeli Pilot Shot Down

It is important that amidst the current events happening in the world, that we continue to keep our eyes and attention upon Israel. Israel is the timeclock of the world. Israel is always in the news. God is protecting this small piece of land because it is the apple of His eye!

During the previous administration, we witnessed leadership that continually came against Israel and appeared to be supporting the enemies of Israel. The previous administration entered into the Iran Nuclear Agreement. These actions have continued to fuel Iran in their hatred to both America and Israel. Now Iran is trying to take over Syria and using that real estate as a bridge to attack Israel.

According to CBN News, Iran sent a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) into Israeli airspace which was shot down. In response, the Israeli Air Force “countered with an air strike on the command center that launched the UAV”. The distressing events that followed highlights the reality that war could be imminent in this region. The report continues, “during Israel’s attack, Syria launched at least 20 anti-aircraft missiles and downed an F-16.” Israel then deployed planes for another attack that destroyed “12 targets inside Syria including four Iranian installations.” This is a major attack against Israel. The only actions that the Israeli Defense Forces carry out are in defense of Israel.

As one who has continual been a bold voice for truth, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu spoke out in response to the attack. His words of warning regarding the dangers of Iran only prove true with these events. The Prime Minister explains, “Iran seeks to use Syrian territory to attack Israel, for its professed goal of destroying Israel. This morning, Iran brazenly violated Israel's sovereignty.” Just as in another time of Israel’s history, Israel will unapologetically defend itself. The Prime Minister continued, “Israel holds Iran and its Syrian host responsible for today's aggression. We will continue to do whatever is necessary to protect our sovereignty and our security.”

Being that Israel is no more than 70 miles wide at its widest point, Israel must always be at the ready for pending attacks from their neighbors. The entire situation spanned less than four and a half hours. The Israeli Defense Forces intercepted the UAV at 0425. An hour later, the Iranian targets were hit in Syria. Less than 30 minutes later, the Israeli F-16 was downed by anti-aircraft missiles. Israel’s response to the Syrian air defense was completed by 0855. These are the chain of events that cause war. An entire nation’s destiny can change in less than four hours.

CBN News continues to report that America’s response to the events underscore their support for Israel. “…the U.S. State Department said that Israel is our closest security partner in the region and we fully support Israel’s inherent right to defend itself.” This is such a bold demonstration of our allegiance with Israel which is much different than how our previous administration responded to Israel.

Ironically enough, while Israel was defending itself against this attack, Iran was celebrating their 39th anniversary of the Iranian Revolution. How did they celebrate? Masses gathered in Tehran with their repeated chants of “Death to America!” and “Death to Israel!” What is Israel supposed to do? While Iran is more than 660 miles East of Israel, the span between Israel and Lebanon is only 164 feet.

When CBN News spoke to a Former IDF Intelligence Officer, Marco Moreno, he explained Iran’s motives for this attack is to dominate the region. “[Iran] owns Lebanon. Iraq is on its way. Syria, not yet. But, it will happen.” Moreno continues to share how Iran is focusing on the Golan Heights. “It’s a strategic decision that the Iranians took to open a front with [Israel] in the Golan Heights.”

If you protect Israel, God is going to bless you. It matters how we respond to Israel, and what our perspective of Israel is. God is going to judge the nations of the world based on how they treated Israel. Where do you stand with Israel? Where are you in the context of these events? How are you demonstrating to the world that you stand with Israel? How would you feel if you saw a drone flying over your head and had no idea if it was weaponized?
