ALL THIS STUFF IN FRONT OF ME! What’s the bigger picture?
There are so many events, relationships, distractions, and things that happen every hour of the day for each of us. Does all of this matter? What’s the bigger picture here? How can I bring context to what is happening now? Often times, we can become focused only on what is happening in our line of sight, forgetting what God is doing throughout the Earth. Your life matters to God. Where you are matters to God. Where God has placed you and what He has entrusted to you matters to God. Allow your faith to be stirred and your encouragement strengthened as you see the perspective of your “day-to-day” life and so much more. Kirk Cameron’s New Movie- Saving Christmas

    Fruit of Unity or Division
At first glance, lying, haughty eyes, evil actions, and false witnesses would be a few things that we would consider God would be against. What is detestable though, is “a man who stirs up dissension among brothers”.-Proverbs 6:19. It’s important for us to know that what we are doing is bringing others together or causing division among others. We can see the outcome of our actions by looking at our fruit. Our actions will always bring an accurate perspective than what our intentions may have been. Be encouraged as you see the importance of unity and division, in our lives, in the church, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: division, fellowship, family, strife, Christmas, and love. Steve, John, and Pat shared in this segment.
What are our expectations of God?
Can you imagine what it would have been like to be in the crowd day after day hearing John the Baptist talk about the One coming that is greater than him? Can you imagine what it would have been like to be one of those to hear Jesus’ first message after being in the desert for 40 days? Often times, the expectations we have for how we want God to move in our lives is different than how God moves in our lives. Don’t allow anyone’s expectations to limit you, whether yours or others. Be encouraged as you see how the wrong expectation can limit God, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Savior and Lord, timing, faith, love, and abiding. Steve, John and Pat shared in this segment.
