It’s not rare to encounter someone who watches movies all day long. With so many visual aids in movies, attractions & social media, we tend to become focused on the glitz, the glamour, and the perfection of what is on T.V., in the lives of others; and then criticizes the reality of what is within our own lives. Many in the younger generation are arriving at a shock when they see what is happening in their own lives and it contradicts what they had expected it to be. There are going to be difficulties, hardships, and trials. Life requires that you get involved. Find out how to enjoy and be a part of your own reality, and so much more. What if God gave you a dream, or a vision of specific characters on a TV show, would you consider it random, or God trying to speak to you? Maybe God is trying to speak to you about those around you, or those that you will come into contact with. The saying goes that a picture is worth a 1,000 words. God could be trying to give you a specific direction. If we’re not hearing, that does not mean that God is not speaking. God’s voice is not always an audible voice; it can simply be a “knowing” within. God desires to speak to us and for us to know His voice. It such an exciting journey when God shows us something new, reveals something about Him or brings us into a new season of our lives. Many can relate to all the different reasons that result in the daily “busyness” of life. We can get caught up doing so much, that we lose sight of simply being with the ones that we desire to be with most. Larnelle Harris wrote a song, I miss my Time with You, that brings to light many of us could relate to. How can we say we are serving the one we love when our spirit is empty? When Jesus walked with His disciples, He told them to give Him a minute. He had to spend time with The Father. You are the Hero for this Generation

The word of hero and expectation of hero is often misrepresented. Most often we can perceive a hero as one who prepared day in and day out for the day of tragedy and how to respond accordingly, when in reality it is those moments of hardships and disaster that bring about the hero in someone. Whether it is a woman’s purse being stolen or someone’s house catching on fire, at that moment, each and every one of us have the choice to respond and be the hero or not to respond. Will we lay down our life choosing to live for eternity or choose to walk away living for this life?
