U.S. National Security Advisor, Susan Rice ,Speaks Regarding the United States Unwavering Commitment towards Israel

Greg, Pat, and John share about a recent CSPAN speech given by Former United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice. She shares the deep concern for Israel as sirens continually sound, and terrorist rockets are falling daily upon Israel. She highlights the priority of Israel’s right to defend itself and the reality of Hamas as the one causing civilian casualties. Since 1975, an unstoppable voting block made up of Muslim Nations and Communist Nations were formed that continues to pass resolution after resolution when a submission is made against Israel. It is important to remember, that regardless of the size of a nation, only one vote is awarded to them in the United Nations. In a majority vote involving a group of 10 people, it doesn’t matter if 8 will always vote a certain way. Regardless if 3 people vote in a positive way, the 8 will come out on top every time. Susan Rice knows this. It doesn’t matter how many times issues are presented to the United Nations in favor of Israel when the outcome is already known.

In light of the continual pressures upon Israel from the world, and the sudden bold allegiance with Israel from America’s leadership, you have to take a deeper look at past actions of America’s current administration. According to Pat Robertson, President Obama has a 72% approval rating amongst Muslims, according to Michelle Bachmann, America is erasing every presence of the Muslim Brotherhood from files, and the aide to Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin is intricately connected with the Muslim Brotherhood. Currently, ISIS is proclaiming that President Obama agrees with their actions in the Middle East, while demonstrators in Egypt are expressing their allegiance with America and questioning why President Obama is reportedly funding terrorism.

While the words being said couldn’t be more of an encouraging breath of fresh air as America is reminded of its allegiance with Israel, there are deeper realities and actions that can’t help but cause concern and questioning. First Time Religious Freedom Ambassador has been appointed who is NOT a Christian; Is there more to this? Could there be a plan in place to steal away Israel’s land?

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the recent decision of the Obama Administration’s decision to appoint Rabbi David Saperstein as the U.S. Ambassador for Religious Freedom. This is a significant decision, as Rabbi Saperstein would be the first non-Christian to be appointed to this role. Persecution against Christians is being cranked up around the world; Christians in Northern Iraq are being given a 4 option ultimatum: leave, convert, pay Jizya Tax, or die. A true holocaust is being played out on the stage of the Middle East. CBN reports, in Iraq alone, 1.5 million Christians were once present; now it’s more like 350,000. The letter N, in the Muslim religion, is being marked on the sides of Christian homes and business, as “Nazarenes”, to bring persecution to them. With so much unrest happening in the Middle East, it all seems to come back to a piece of land that stretches 70 miles wide: Israel. Why is this such a concerning truth? When one looks far enough back into history, a similar story comes into picture. This story involves a King named Ahab, a Queen named Jezebel, and a Godly man named Naboth. What is the issue at stake in this story; Naboth’s land.

As the church, we cannot simply sit idly by and watch what is happening and receive it as present value, we must look deeper. We must look at it with a Biblical perspective. We must stand up for Israel and be the voice of truth amidst so much evil in the world. Right now, the silent majority is going to have to wake up and be a voice for truth and for Israel. When a stand is made for truth, persecution should not be a surprise. Jesus said it best from the Sermon on the Mount:

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

–Matthew 5:10-12

CBN reports, “There have been close to 8,000 anti-Semitic incidents in France since 2000 and every time Israel acts in self-defense against the Palestinians the danger increases.” As many as 5,000 Jews could leave France this year. 90% of Jews in France are concerned about anti-Semitism. Christians are also being crucified in Northern Iraq. ISIS is giving Christians in the region 3 options, convert, pay the Jizya tax, or die. Christian homes and business are being painted with the letter, “N” for Nazarene or Christian by Islamists. As a response and a reminder of the Holocaust, many Christians have responded in unity and allegiance with the persecuted Christians in Mosul in their own way. Israel Protective Edge Update Day 21: It’s time for someone to stand up to the Jihadist bullies in the Middle East as Israel Is- Rockets, Underground Tunnels, Iron Dome and so much more

John, Pat, and Steve share the recent events on what is still taking place on Israel’s Southern Border with Gaza. As Day 21 comes in for Operation Protective Edge, rockets are continuing to be shot into Israel, Israel is defending itself, and peace deals have continued to be rejected by Hamas. In a Fox news Interview, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu shares, “Hamas has broken 5 ceasefires that we have accepted and actually implemented. They rejected all of them, including 2 humanitarian cease fires in the last 24 hours. Now they come with their own cease fire proposal, and believe it or not, they violated even THEIR OWN ceasefire proposal….” Israel is receiving continual pressure from the international community to provide aid to Gaza. It is this aid that is being given to Gaza that is being used by Hamas to build underground tunnels as ways to covertly travel across the border of Israel and bring terrorism to the civilians of Israel. When Israel is telling civilian Palestinians to leave in order to protect them, Hamas is telling the same civilians to leave.

There has been an expression regarding concern of the blockade of goods being imported and exported between Israel and Gaza. Prime Minister Netanyahu shares the importance to de-militarize Gaza. Regardless of what is given, if de-militarization is not done, Israel will find itself in the same place where it presently is. Israel has no choice but to defend itself.
