Israel Still Continues to Amaze; Beacon of Light in the Middle East, Defending Freedom, and Sharing their Blessings with the World

Greg, Pat, and John share how the blessings of the Lord that is not only upon the people of Israel, but also the land of Israel. Operation Protective Edge is continuing on as Israel defends itself. As Gaza continues to send projectiles of rocket fire into Israel, Israel has responded by destroying over 330 terror sites. In an interview by the “Jerusalem Post”, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat states in response to the continuing fire, “First of all, if you look at the statistics, no one in Israel has been hurt.” God’s hand is not only upon the Israeli people protecting them, but the blessing is also on the work of their hands and the soil. In a land that is 50% desert, Israel has revolutionized the usage of water. With recent developments in how they treat water, Israel has been able to turn water from the Mediterranean Sea to drinkable water out of the faucet within 90 minutes. Their inventions are not only providing for an entire nation, which will soon have a water surplus, but these advances are also being exported to their surrounding enemies and 110 nations around the world. There are continuing questions about the “problem in the Middle East”, but with a brief look at the state of Israel and how it is responding to their neighbors, it is a drastic difference to how the neighbors of Israel are responding to Israel. Prager University seeks to answer this question by revealing an in depth look and the history behind what we’re presently seeing in the Middle East. Be encouraged as your perspective of Israel changes and so much more. Also shared in this segment: drip irrigation, blessings, Palestinian Authority, Prager University, Operation Protective Edge, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and prayer.

Confronting the Evil Lie "...where Christianity was directly involved, was the kind of sanctification of the process of slavery in relationship to divine intent made slavery such a heinous act”. Michael Eric Dyson

Greg, Pat and John share about a recent interview that took place on “The Ed Show.” Michael Eric Dyson hosts author and filmmaker of the movie: “America: Imagine the World Without Her”- Dinesh D’Souza and also hosts a panel of Zerlina Maxwell and Eric Boehlert who respond to Dinesh’s views. This idea that America is based on theft is never effectively answered. ” states D’Souza. They volley back and forth regarding the history of America regarding slave trading and how America got their land. Interviewer Michael Dyson brings the attention to the heart of the matter: “Not until America, where Christianity was directly involved, was the kind of sanctification of the process of slavery in relationship to divine intent made slavery such a heinous act”. Looking at the history of the church, we have to acknowledge that what has been done, in the name of Jesus, has to be dealt with, taken to the Cross and repented for. We cannot hate our brother based on the color of their skin and expect to be welcomed into the gates of Heaven; that would be a false gospel. If one claims to love God, than we must love our brother who is created in the image and likeness of God. “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” 1 John 4:20

Also in this panel, D’Souza reveals the relationship between President Obama and Saul Alisnky and the truth that they in fact never met. D’Souza continues by sharing that the relationship between President Obama and Hillary Clinton is closer than the relationship between Hillary and Bill Clinton in regards to their acquaintances with Saul Alinksy. Greg highlights his recent statements regarding President Obama as “working for “ Alinksy and retracts them under this recent awareness of now understanding that the President never actually worked for him. Be encouraged as you understand that there is a wide road, and a narrow road in regards to the history of America, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: The Ed Show, America, MSNBC, 12 Years a Slave, The Great Commission, Saul Alinsky, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, First Nation People, Christopher Columbus, and Dinesh D’Souza.

President Obama and Governor Rick Perry Agree on Resolution for Border Crisis

Greg, Pat, and John share about the recent meeting of Texas Governor Rick Perry and President Obama regarding the present issue of America’s borders and the people coming across the borders. The President spoke at the White House regarding his time with the Governor and he agrees with the Governor’s concern regarding the number of border agents, the location of the border patrol locations in relation to the border itself, and others. It is important to remember that the paradigm in America is not always the same in other countries. Individuals are coming to America in the hopes of having a better life, “a better chance at a long life” some have shared. How we respond to those in need matters to God. There may be borders surrounding America, but there are no borders in God. We must remember to be thankful that the President is not only responding to this matter but also to pray for the President as well as the Governor. Be encouraged in this moment as you get a biblical understanding of how to respond and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Guatemala, immigration, Sean Hannity, tracing feet, due process, FAA, Catholic Social Services, and prayer.

Empathizing with Israel: If we As Christians Stand with Israel Today Maybe there will be someone who Stand with us Tomorrow

Greg, Pat, and John continue the conversation regarding Israel and the critical hour that we are in on Earth. Amidst the many different narratives about Israel, as believers it is imperative that we stand with Israel and for Israel. Tension remains for those in Southern Israel as rockets from Gaza continue to be fired against Israelis. Since 2001, over 8,000 missiles have been shot in the town of Sderot, also known as “Rocket Town”. While there may not be rockets, or continual threats of harm in other parts of the world, it is important to remain in a place of empathy towards our Jewish brothers and sisters, if not, the church is next. Pastor Martin Niemöller details the exact empathetic perspective we must have towards Israel:

“First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—

Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.”

Also shared in this segment: Gaza Strip, embedded reporters, narratives, Red Alert Israel app, Woodrow Wilson, Coffee Shops, CBN, empathy, and perspective.

Abortionist Kills 95,000 Babies: “I See it as a Calling” Says Abortionist

John, Greg, and Pat discuss how an abortionist in Milwaukee has killed 95,000 babies during his 40 year career and how he sees it as a calling. According to Life News.com “Dennis Christensen wants to retire but he has a problem. He told himself when he made plans to retire that he would only do so if he could find another abortion practitioner to take over his business.

But he can’t find any physicians willing to make it their job to kill babies through abortions.”

Christensen, said “I have always felt that this is a worthwhile endeavor and a necessary one,” “And there aren’t too many people who will do it.

They continued to discuss how God hates hands that shed innocent blood…Proverbs 6:17. They further discussed how because of recent laws passed in the state of Wisconsin finding doctors to perform abortions is proving to be quite difficult. This is a horrific reality that has spanned over forty years but now is soon coming to an end as other states across the country have adopted laws that have either restricted abortions or have underscored the rights of babies to be born alive and for their life to be protected in the event a baby survived a botched abortion. The Hippocratic Oath says “I will prescribe regimens for the good of my patients according to my ability and my judgment and never do harm to anyone” this includes babies as well. They continue to encourage us to pray Dear God, End Abortion and Send Revival.

Francis and Lisa Chan write a Book on Marriage With A Kingdom First Perspective: You and Me Forever: Marriage in Light of Eternity

John, Greg, and Pat discuss how Francis Chan and his wife Lisa Chan have authored a new book on marriage called You and Me Forever: Marriage in Light of Eternity. The “Christian Post” reports that they “have written a new book for couples who may be so caught up in trying to have the perfect marriage that they have unwittingly made their union, spouse or children into idols.” Francis says maybe we got it all backwards we need to begin to see marriage in light of eternity. This is a timely book as there has been a narrative regarding marriage that has steered way off from where biblical Patriarchs started. Marriage is not about finding someone to make us happy, marriage was designed for God’s purpose. If we can get the Church’s marriages on the right track then maybe the world will have an example to follow.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how Israel has emerged into a flourishing and abundantly blessed land. They continue to discuss an award winning multi- part video presentation, produced by CBN, that chronicles how Israelis’ by the hand of God and hard work have transformed Israel’s once arid dry landscape to an agricultural haven where they have implemented techniques, inventions and technologies to help develop the land for vegetation. Their hard work has not only helped the farmers in Israel but they have shared their knowledge and resources with their regional neighbors and the rest of the world including the United States. It did not go without being mentioned that during the time that Israel was a waste land nobody wanted it but now we are seeing Palestinians fight for what they did not want to begin with. It is great to see how the Jewish people through hard work, ingenuity and the blessing of God have made Israel the great nation that it has become today.

Jesus Calls Us to be Fishers of Men; However we Fish with the Truth of God’s Word

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how Jesus calls us to be fishers of men and we fish for men with the truth of God’s Word. They continue to discuss a funny video that was produced as a social experiment to see how people would react to paper money seemingly flying across the ground as if blown by the wind. There was only one catch the paper money was actually attached to a fishing line and the fishing line was attached to a fishing pole that was used to reel the money in. Neither age, gender nor race was a factor in who would go after the money as everyone did. They continue to draw comparisons to how some have tried to reach people by preaching a “prosperity gospel”. The truth is that you can’t serve both God and money. A simple question was asked. How easily have some been manipulated with a raise to stop fellowshipping, to stop abiding and to chase after money? There has been a false gospel preached declaring that God loves you more if you have stuff and things. This is absolutely false. God’s love is completely unconditional. God surely takes care of those who are His, those who are His disciples and follow Him. One has to decide are they going to follow money or are they going to follow Jesus?
