Greg, John, and Pat break news and discuss the explosion in NYC in east Harlem that resulted in a collapse of a building resulting in a five alarm fire. Some have even reported seeing a neighbor fly in the air and an 8 year old severely burned as of now 15 people are reported as injured. Earlier reports indicate that locals in the area were smelling gas. They continue to discuss the Jerusalem Post reported of a similar incident in where a man who wanted to commit a terrorist attack on Jews cut the gas line in an attempt to blow up a building. We are thankful to God it was discovered before anyone was injured or any physical harm could be done. They continued to remind us that God is the one who protects us.

God Gives you the Word to have Access into someones Life
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how you have to ask permission to have access into one’s life. They shared numerous examples of how people try to push their way into situations and into other people’s life without having permission. They continue to give an example of an encounter they had with an aggressive sales person who continued to push through. Greg recalls an incident that occurred when he was in the Navy and he remembers when a low ranking officer tried pushing himself on other service men and giving them directives when in fact they knew more than he did. Greg continues to share that from time to time on the ship they had what was known as Zulu 5 Oscar training designed to prevent an intruder from getting on board. This same officer thought that he would be able to successfully get on board only to find out that just within a few steps he was wrapped up in a headlock by fellow shipmates. They further discuss how many people today force themselves into your life and they don’t even know you. They also share an encounter they had with Leo and Sandy DeJesus on a prayer walk they went on in New Orleans. A word of knowledge given to Greg opened the door to have access into their home and lives. God will speak to us what we need to know and what we have to say.
While they were shaking Hands- Missiles headed to Attack Israel
Greg, John, and Pat discussed what President Benjamin Netanyahu had said and as they were shaking hands missiles for Israel’s destruction was headed toward the Gaza strip. They continue to discuss how everything in America is much larger in America than other countries. This is especially true of the nation of Israel where its widest part is 70 miles wide. The weapons were destined to reach the hands of terrorists on the Gaza strip thanks to the Iran. “I said a moment ago that at most I heard a few faint condemnations of Iran from the international community after we intercepted murderous shipment. We even saw representatives of the world powers shaking hands and smiling with the heads of Iran’s regime, at the same time we were unloading these missiles here in Eliat” said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We cannot blame the Secretary of State John Kerry but in fact the President since the buck stops with him. You can’t use Alinsky tactics towards Israel; they won’t work. They remind us that no man knows the day or the hour of Jesus return not even Jesus. However, God does have an expectation that as believers we have discernment of the times and season we are living in. At this moment in time Israel has 170,000 missiles pointed at her and are completely surrounded by her enemies. If you strap a bomb to yourself and hurt God’s people it will not go well for you. There was a day that America was loyal that day has changed. Remain close to Israel.

Learning the MOST Important thing: To Love
Pat, Greg, and John share about learning the most important thing and that is to love. They continue to share how they were challenged when they heard what Jesus told Bob Jones when Bob died and went to heaven the first time. Jesus asked Bob did you learn to love. Pat continues to share that without love it’s all meaningless. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 13 that without love we are like a sounding gong. It doesn’t matter what we do for God alone if it is not done with love as the motivation. If we have love we have fulfilled the law. The world wants God but often times they see “religion” if they see love they will see God. It doesn’t matter what we do for God if love is not our driving force. Many have believed the lie that their gift is their fruit. Many have prostituted their gifts. If you don’t repent gifts don’t matter at all. Many today are pushing through the body of Christ. So how do we love? We love by serving others. We love by praying for others, covering others, and helping them with their needs. Jesus already told us in Revelation that he has seen our deeds but what many are lacking is love. Maybe you have been hurt and have gone through a betrayal in your life. Ask the Lord to heal your heart and put yourself out to love and be loved again. True love means you go first it doesn’t matter what happens to me.
Louie Giglio Millennial May be Leaving the Church but they are Walking toward Jesus
John, Greg, and Pat discuss a recent interview published in the Christian Post. In this interview they asked the founder of Passion Conference, Louie Giglio whether he was concerned regarding the statistics of millennial leaving the church. In so many words Louie said that millennial may be leaving more of what we call traditional churches but they are walking to Jesus. Louie is quoted as saying “We’ve done events all over the world- Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong,, Malaysia, Sao Paulo (Brazil), Vancouver (Canada). Everywhere we go to do an event, there is an arena of some kind full of young people, full of 18 year olds, 20 year olds worshipping Jesus. So I think the church is actually gaining ground with Millennial and not losing ground.” They further discussed that if God is moving elsewhere and young people are going to where Jesus is moving than maybe you need to consider following them. They are not leaving God but they may be leaving you. Isn’t it worth you losing your kingdom if people are finding Jesus? This is our driving passion at VFNtv and the Daily VFNRadio Program for people to find and fall in love with Jesus. Many young people are finding Jesus in what Paul Keith Davis called Apostolic Centers, a place where they can come get charged for God and launched into their destiny.
    Redefining the Vocabulary in Leadership?
Greg, John, and Pat discuss redefining of vocabulary especially in leadership. Recently the CEO of Facebook, Cheryl Sandberg, has launched a campaign to have the word “bossy” removed from our vocabulary in terms of how it is used towards women. They continue to discuss how there is a strategy to remove everything that is right. There used to be a day when it was a good thing to be called the boss. They further discuss how there needs to be order in the home as is described in God’s Word. This is obviously has nothing to do in with intellect as both spouses and gender have intelligence. However, it is about what God has established. If you have talent no matter what people call or don’t call you it can never be taken away. They give an example regarding combat women in the military. Men are in a dilemma. They discuss a combat training exercise called the fighting stick. Both combatants take hold of the stick and the one who takes sole possession of the stick is the winner. The man faces a dilemma because all his life he has been taught to honor women and if he hurts the woman that would not be good but also at the same time if she beats him it will not be socially acceptable. It’s hard for a man to find his place because in certain instances when he tries to honor a woman by opening the door now that is a bad thing. If you are bossy that’s okay. It’s more important that you fix yourself first before trying to fix the world.
Don’t get tripped up by the Messenger if the Message is True
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the importance of not getting tripped up by the messenger if the message is true. Sometimes minsters can be familiar with the very Word they preach and teach. They begin thinking about how the Word, Bible, addresses issues for others without first applying it to their life. That is extremely dangerous and something that the Pharisees were all too familiar with. They further discuss how in Exodus 19 Moses went to the top of Mount Sinai to meet with God and he was told to warn the people and the priest that they must consecrate themselves or the Lord will break out against them. The Gospel must apply to your life. What you preach must line up with what you do. Even Jesus told the disciples regarding the Pharisees to do what they say but do not do what they do. Truth is truth. They remind us not to get tripped up by the messenger if the message is true. Often times because people get offended they throw out someone’s teaching because of what they did. If the message is true keep the message. It’s not between you and them it is between you and God.

Celebrating Evangelist Steve Hill’s Life and Ministry
Greg, John, and Pat celebrate the life and ministry of Evangelist Steve Hill. They continue to discuss how this General, Steve Hill, has just gone on to be with the Lord. Steve Hill meant so much too many of us. Steve’s life and ministry has affected millions of people around the world and will continue to bear fruit for many years to come. They further share how VFNtv and the Daily VFNRadio were birthed out of the fires of the Brownsville Revival and continues to be the a torch for the Gospel and our Savior, Jesus. They enjoyed a time of reflection as they talked about the events that led to the now infamous Father’s Day in 1995. No one knew that Father’s Day 1995 would be the beginning of an outpouring of God that would overtake Steve, Brother John Kilpatrick, the Brownsville Church and the millions of people who came to get right with God. They continue to share personal testimonies, as ones who were right in the middle of the Revival, of how God touched them during the Brownsville Revival as they intermittently played video clips of Steve preaching and Steve giving an alter call like very few can. Steve was a man set on fire by God. He preached with such boldness, fire, and compassion. Night after night after night it was the same message, Get right with Jesus, with the same results with thousands flooding the altars nightly. John shares how he gave his life to Jesus through Steve Hill’s ministry. He shares how after he responded to the alter call he walked up to Steve Hill and shook his hand and Steve said nothing but more Lord. John goes to say he felt like lightning struck him and he fell to the ground and began to shake like a fish out of water and began to cry uncontrollably because he was feeling the most beautiful feeling he had ever felt in his life, the presence and glory of God all over his body. Greg shares how on Father’s Day 1995 he and a couple of men went into Pastor Kilpatrick’s study to pray for him but found out that Steve was going to preach and Brother Kilpatrick asked them to pray for Steve. Greg shares that although they were praying for Steve they were the ones who were being blessed. Greg continues to share several testimonies of some of the amazing things that took place during that time of revival. They continue to discuss the dynamic relationship that existed between the Apostle John Kilpatrick and the Evangelist Steve Hill. God poured out His spirit in such a way that people who were present couldn’t help but get touched by God. Steve was always about preaching the Gospel, the blood, the cross, sin, and repentance. He was also frustrated with those who refused to go out and win the loss. Up until Steve passed away he worked tirelessly to preach the Gospel and win souls. He will forever be remembered for his passion for Jesus and for his compassion for the loss. We stand with Steve, Together in the Harvest!
