  • God; Faithful Father
John and Pat discuss how Father God is a Faithful Father. We are living in a unique moment in time where we are seeing the fulfillment of many biblical prophesies. To date over 100,000 Syrians have been killed in Syria’s civil war, we are facing global economic hemorrhaging, Israel is completely surrounded by her enemies, American Constitutional rights have been infringed upon all while much of the church is asleep. They continue to discuss that although we are facing difficult time we must never forget Father God’s faithfulness towards those who are His. Jesus said in John 16:33 “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” God is not only an ever present help in the time of trouble but He is faithful and dependable and He will lead us, guide us, comfort us, protect us and strengthen us so that we can make it. We can rest in His faithfulness. No matter what comes to the world or our way Father God is faithful and will be there for us.

Signs in the Heavens: 4 Blood Moons Just a Short Time Away; What does it mean for Israel?
John and Pat continue to discuss the signs in the heavens as they discuss the coming 4 blood moons that NASA is predicting with the first one beginning on April 15, 2014. They continue to discuss Erick Stakelbeck ‘s interview with Pastor John Hagee as he discusses what a blood moon actually is and what has happened in the last 500 years regarding every time we had four blood moons. Pastor Hagee said “"There's a sense in the world that things are changing and God is trying to communicate with us in a supernatural way," Hagee told CBN News.”I believe that in these next two years, we're going to see something dramatic happen in the Middle East involving Israel that will change the course of history in the Middle East and impact the whole world," he predicted.”
Four Blood Moons over the Last 500 YEARS
    1. The first was in 1492 when King Ferdinand expelled the Jews for not converting to Catholicism and confiscated their property. That is also when the Jewish people gave money to an explorer named Christopher Columbus to find them a new place where they can worship God freely.
    2. The second time occurred in 1948 when Israel became a nation and only 11 minutes after they declared themselves a state, then President Harry Truman with the full force backing of the United States confirmed and validated Israel as a country before the world.
    3. The third time this happened was during the 6 day Yom Kippur war when Israel was attacked and as a result of the war Jerusalem came under the borders of Israel
They continue to encourage us to pray for Israel and to stand with those who are standing with Israel. Today it is reported that that there are 170,000 missiles aimed at Israel we must never forget the constant threat they are under. We will be facing times that test men’s souls it’s important to stand firm.

Forecasters Predicting the Approaching of a Catastrophic Winter Storm headed for the South
John and Pat discuss how forecasters are predicting a catastrophic winter storm is headed for the South. They continued to discuss how many governors have already declared a state of emergency for their respective states. They further discuss how many states are taking this storm very seriously especially since it has only been two weeks since the last winter storm to strike the South. According to CBN “One hundred million Americans from the deep South to the mid-Atlantic are preparing again for extreme weather. Forecasters say snow and ice could cripple cities and endanger lives. Ice is the big concern. It could bring widespread power outages, especially in the southern states where so many trees and limbs hang over power lines.” They further discuss how much of what we are seeing in the weather has a lot to do with the prophetic word from John Paul Jackson first delivered in 2008 called the Perfect Storm. They encourage us to watch and to pray for those in the affected areas and to reach out to neighbors and friends and minister to people’s needs during these tough and challenging times.
Affordable Healthcare Implementation Delayed for Some – What’s the BIG Picture?
John and Pat discuss recent developments regarding the Affordable Healthcare Act. CNN Money reports that “The Obama administration is giving employers more time to comply with rules requiring them to provide affordable health insurance for their workers. Mid-sized companies with the equivalent of 50 to 99 full-time employees will now have until 2016 to provide affordable coverage under Obamacare, a year later than expected, the administration announced Monday.” They continue to discuss how since the very beginning the Affordable Healthcare Act has been plagued with problems and although many people differ about how the affordable health care can be provided to the American people most of all people agree that something should be done. They further discuss how the church should have compassion and be willing to explore how health care can be provided for all people. John continues to shares what he experienced when he visited the dentist for a tooth extraction although it was a basic procedure which caused minimal pain they further discussed how he felt blessed that he was having that procedure in the United States as opposed to a third world country where he might have not benefited from the care that he did receive. They further discussed how having compassion for those who do not have health insurance is very important and even discuss the possibilities of the church coming together to develop creative ways to provide health care to those in need.

Above All Else Guard Your Heart
Pat and John discuss the dangers of having an unguarded heart. They continue to discuss the how the Bible is filled with wisdom to guide us. They further discuss how Proverbs 4:23 says “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life”, meaning that everything in life flows from your heart. They continue to discuss how God allows us to see more of what is in our hearts while on a fast. The fast affords us the opportunity to shut everything else around us down and allows us to be more sensitive to the voice of the Lord and more receptive to things he wants to show us. They continue to discuss Jesus words in Mark 7:18-24 “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.) He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”
Jesus response to the religious leaders was how that they honored him with their lips but that their hearts were far from him and that their worship was in vain. Talk is cheap if our heart is somewhere else. If we don’t guard our hearts then our hearts become hardened and progression is being full of pride and pride leads to spiritual blindness and spiritual blindness leads to deception. The only thing that can penetrate a hard heart is truth. They further discuss the process the prodigal son went through from a hard heart to a soft and broken heart. When his heart was right he got right. They encourage us to give the Lord all of our heart and not to resist the truth which hardens the heart.
Don’t conform to your Situation Let your Situation Conform to the Word of God
John and Pat discuss the importance of not conforming to our situation but instead allowing our situation to conform to God’s Word, They continue to discuss a situation that unfolded when the disciples found themselves, in Matthew 14, in a boat and saw Jesus walking on the water headed towards them. They were of course terrified and experience a whole range of emotions because they were having a hard time believing what they was not a ghost. Who can blame them because right before their eyes they were seeing Jesus do something that totally was opposite of what was normal and against natural law. Peter had enough courage to call out to Jesus and asked him if indeed it was him for him to call Peter to himself and Jesus did. If it wasn’t remarkable enough that Jesus was walking on water we now see that Peter too began to walk on water and do just as Jesus was doing. However, the minute that Peter took his eyes off of Jesus and put it on the wind he became afraid and began to sink and Jesus reached out his hand to rescue him and said you of little faith. They continue to discuss that Jesus was so full of faith and full of the heavenly realm that he didn’t allow natural law to affect him but instead he affected the natural law and caused it to conform to him. So many times because of fear and suffering loss we fail to trust God and His truth and cause God’s truth to submit to the situation. We see that this was not the case with Jesus. If someone was sick he healed them, if they needed to walk he said pick up your mat, if they needed an eye he just created one out of mud. Since God made us in His image we can gather that the Lord wants us to operate just as He did and to understand that we are first a spirit that is contained in a body not the other way around. We need to be so full of God and his truth that our first inclination to any situation should not be to conform to our situations but to cause the natural situations in our life to conform to the supernatural. All things are possible for those who believe.

President Obama Calls for the Release of Imprisoned Pastor Saeed in Iran
John and Pat discuss how President Obama’s recent call for Pastor Saeed to be released from an Iranian prison at the National Prayer Breakfast. The president’s remarks came at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. which was attended by 3,000 Americans from across the country. CBN reports the President Obama said the following “"We pray for Pastor Saeed Abedini," the President said. “He’s been held in Iran for more than 18 months, sentenced to eight years in prison on charges related to his Christian beliefs. And as we continue to work for his freedom, again we call on the Iranian government to release Pastor Abedini so he can return to the loving arms of his wife and children in Idaho." They continued to share how this can be a significant turning point in the campaign to see Pastor Saeed released since he has been imprisoned for nearly a year and half. They continue to encourage us to pray and to stand for persecuted Christians all over the world. We must not forget them. They further discuss how we can remain informed regarding Pastor Saeed at ACLJ.

  • Inching Closer to Beast Economy with Chip and Pin for Future Credit Cards
Inching Closer to Beast Economy with Chip and Pin for Future Credit Cards
John and Pat discuss how we are inching closer to the “beast economy” with a chip and pin for future credit cards as a proposed way for making credit card transactions more secure. According to Fox News, “A series of hacks at two major retailers over the Christmas shopping season has so startled the U.S. retail sector that it is rushing to catch up, technologically, with Kenya in terms of security.” It has been said that because of security concerns this new chip and pin technology to be placed in credit cards will not only do away with the black strip on the back of the credit cards resulting in the chip encrypting data differently for each transaction. They further discuss how with every new scare it seems that many people in today’s society are willing to give up more of their rights and privacy even if under the guise of safety. They encourage us to seek the wisdom and direction of God always as we are inching closer to a beast economy that is mentioned in Revelation 13. They encourage us to watch, pray and seek the Lord by placing our hope only and fully upon Him. When we enter into an abiding relationship with the Lord He begins to unveil and unfold to us what we need to know and what to do with what He tells us.

Israel Unveils New Unmanned Fighting Boat To Patrol Israel’s Shores
John and Pat discuss Israel’s latest weaponry in protecting Israel’s shore. They discuss what is called a USV, Unmanned Surveillance Vehicle also known as “Katana” according to the Jerusalem Post. It functions a lot like an unmanned drone airplane with the difference it’s a boat. According to the “Jerusalem Post”, “IAI’s, Israel’s Aerospace Industries Katana is a multifunctional vessel and “marine system” that provides various capabilities such as advanced communications, weapons systems and varied payloads.” They continue to discuss that Israel will do what it has to do to defend itself and no one should underestimate the willingness and capability to do so. They encourage us to continue to pray for Israel and not to dismiss the eerie silence that is coming from the Middle East at the moment. They remind us to stay alert and to watch and pray.

  • Living a Surrendered Life
John and Pat discuss the importance of living a surrendered life. They continue to discuss how many people today are focusing much of their attention on what others say about the Bible instead of reading the Bible. They further discuss how there has never been a time like we are living in now where there has been more Christian literature in the forms of books, media, internet, audio and video and yet they are not many signs in which we can see how this has deepened the walk of most believers and to spur them on to live more surrendered lives to Jesus. They encourage us to take time to read the letters in red in our Bible, the words of Jesus. They further discuss how as they look at the landscape of our culture and the church they notice how the world has infiltrated the church rather than the church infiltrating the culture. They discuss how the more they read the words of Jesus and compare His words to what we see in the church at large they see much contrast. Jesus didn’t come to earth to give us a “cute” religion or a way of life but instead to give us true life since we are walking dead men and women who were walking in our sins. They continue to discuss how Jesus was extremely popular and large crowds came to see him and be ministered to. They enjoyed the miracles, acts of power, seeing the demon possessed delivered and in their right mind but when it came to those who would go deeper, those who would become a follower and disciple of Jesus HE gave them very important instructions.
    Matthew 16: 24-26
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life[f] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul.”
God has called us to live a surrendered life. We are not able to follow Jesus if we have not laid down our lives before the Lord. Giving our lives to Jesus is not about saying a nice prayer but giving him our entire life, following Him, and loving Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. The truth is that we are doing people an injustice when we are not sharing with them the truth regarding Jesus’ expectation. This is why we have so much of what some are calling the gospel when in reality they have watered the gospel down and diluted that it is no gospel at all. They continue to discuss the sold out commitments of many of our Chinese Christian brothers and sisters that live their life only to honor God and at a personal cost to themselves. To this we were called to forever be grateful and totally aware and appreciative of the saving grace that has been given to us by Jesus when he died on the cross for our sins. May we live our lives in such a way before the Lord that it shows our great gratitude and love for all that He has done for us.
