Nehemiah’s Heart: The Secret to Rebuilding the Walls of the Church in America- Part 2
Greg, John, and Pat discuss Nehemiah’s heart; the secret to rebuilding the walls of the church in America. They continue to discuss how there is nothing more beautiful than true repentance. It’s not just about saying you are sorry and that’s it. True repentance causes us to do something and to change. They further discuss the importance of knowing the season that you are in so that you can respond appropriately. They continue to speak how God is just looking for someone to stand in the gap. Nehemiah was that man that was willing to stand in the gap because he had the heart of God. There must be a people not only willing to stand in the gap but also a people who are ready to get right. If you are not willing to work without complaining, can’t function in marriage the way God sees it, and can’t honor leadership you are not ready for the deliverance that Nehemiah brings. They discuss how Nehemiah understood how to get God’s attention. They further discuss the importance of not just repenting for the sins of our fathers but our sins as well; the importance of not blaming leaders, fathers, and others but we all have to take ownership. Look at what has happened to America. It was once known as the bread basket of the world. They discuss the necessity to have a plan and to be able to answer specific questions when talking about rebuilding the walls of the church in America. They also discussed that if you don’t have a plan but you do have some answers to the questions, then consider joining others that have the other answers that you don’t have so that everyone with answers can come together for the betterment of the church. Nehemiah approached his authority with humility and honor before God and because of that He was able to ask with great boldness for specific things that he would need to rebuild the walls. They share that as Nehemiah approached the broken walls and surveyed himself and pondered in his heart what he was called to lead, he began to share his clear vision with others who were going to do the work. The Bible tells us in Habakkuk 2:2-3 “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Nehemiah had a plan.
They also encourage us to cry out to God for Him to help us understand and to have His perspective. It has been said by some that the church has sold the American dream and just gave people Jesus. When we go forth to rebuild the walls of the church in America don’t be surprised if a spirit of Sanballat rises up to ridicule you just as it did to Nehemiah. Don’t be intimidated by the horizontal happenings with Sanballat. So many things will come against you but you will need to stick, stay and stand even when it stinks. Don’t let Satan’s weapon of ridicule stop you. They encourage us to understand that if we have done things the right way before God, those with a Sanballat spirit will use horizontal authority to come against us. How we do things and how we honor authority that God has established matters greatly. Right now the church is in the same condition of disgrace as the broken walls and burned gates of Jerusalem. IF we intently soak on Nehemiah’s heart and understand what it means to truly repent, God will begin to rebuild his church.

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Greg, John, and Pat honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They to share how Dr. King was an American apostle that led the country back to the original intent of the U.S. Constitution. They discuss the importance of having a right perspective regarding the history of our nation. They share that for a large percentage of American history approximately 522 years from the time the country was founded up until the civil rights era and the election of President Barak Obama the nation has had a history of being unjust to African Americans. They further discuss the importance of Dr. King and his plight for justice for all mankind. They continue to ask what would have happened if instead of President Kennedy trying to appease racist governors he would have flatly and undeniably said to those governors “this is wrong”, it’s racism, and in certain cases (as it pertained to the law) it was unconstitutional, what would have happened. Would he have done things differently if he knew he had a short time left to live? Many career politicians, (once elected) are tempted to try to hold on to power not knowing that he would shortly lose his life Jesus died for all the “ethnos” nations of the world. How can one who says he knows Jesus hate his brother? It’s simple; they can’t. Dr. King didn’t’ change his message. He kept the truth on the forefront. We must remember as we gain a full perspective of American history.

Nehemiah’s Heart: The Secret to Rebuilding the Walls of the Church in America part 1
When Nehemiah found out about the condition of Jerusalem and how the walls were broken down and the gates were burned he was broken which resulted in him entering a time of mourning, fasting, and praying. When Nehemiah prayed to God he personally identified with the sins of his countrymen and confessed sins for them and himself. Nehemiah was a man who was truly broken at the same time full of compassion. He worked as cup bearer for the King and because he did his job with such excellence that the King was able to notice Nehemiah’s frown. Today the church is in the same condition; her walls are broken and her gates are burned. Where are the Nehemiah’s that are broken over her condition? Where are the Nehemiah’s that are mourning because only 3% percent of the church is actually honoring God with their tithes, or mourning that only 19% of believers according to the Barna Group read the Bible or the fact that many are running to those who will tell them what their itching ears want to hear? They further discuss how it is okay to feel broken for the things that break God’s heart as well as the grace to feel it once He reveals His heart to us. You need to do whatever you need to do; to do what God has called you to do. God’s heart is often ignored resulting in God’s people being in bondage. Once we become like Nehemiah we feel the pain of God’s heart and enter into mourning, fasting, and repentance then we can begin to bring God’s people on a path back to righteousness. Nehemiah was not just willing to deal with his own sin but the sins of his father as well. God is looking for those Nehemiahs who have compassion; feeling sorry about a situation and doing something about it. Nehemiah was before the King and the king noticed how he was sad because Nehemiah probably did not come into the King’s presence sad and downcast. They further discuss that although Nehemiah worked for an oppressive government that did not affect how he would work with excellence. Many can learn much from Nehemiah and how he conducted his works that he was so good at his job the King was compelled to hear what plagued Nehemiah’s heart mainly that his land laid in ruins. Nehemiah’s integrity and authenticity touched the King’s heart to ask Nehemiah how long he needed, essentially what was his plan. They continue to discuss that having the heart of Nehemiah didn’t just include, mourning, fasting, brokenness and prayer but that it included a strategic plan to bring God’s people out. We must pay attention to what God is saying. It is difficult if you are fighting for what you want instead of what He wants. O Lord gives us Nehemiah’s heart.

Palestinian Minister of Religious Affairs Calls for JIHAD on JERUSALEM: Palestinian President Abbas APPLAUDS
LISTEN NOW! John, Greg, and Pat discuss how the Palestinian Minister of Religious Affairs calls for jihad on Jerusalem all the while Palestinian President Abbas sits on the front row and applauds according to “The Blaze.” This is happening all the while the Palestinians are in negotiations with Israel as the United States leads these talks. They continue to encourage us to pray for Israel that they do not succumb to the pressure exerted on them by President Obama’s administration to give up their land. We must never forget that satan hates us because we are created in the image of God. Many falsely believe that they can negotiate with the enemy. If you marry Lucifer never look for peace. They further discuss our need to pray for leadership and for their eyes to be opened and for them to turn their hearts to Jesus.

  • Running For the Prize
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how we need to run the race to win the prize.
The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 9:24 “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.” They continue to discuss how when athletes compete for their athletic teams they go under strict training to perform at their best. They just don’t go out on the field and play that’s what fans do. Athletes spend long hours and many weeks preparing, training, learning, and practicing before they actually take the field for a brief moment. All this preparation is to win the prize. They encourage us to live our lives before the Lord the same way. Run in such a way to win the prize. Paul said that he beats his body as to now disqualify himself from the prize. They further discuss the importance of running and playing in such a way that we receive a crown. They challenge us not to live for this life but to live for the one to come and to have a crown that we would want to lay at Jesus’ feet.
    Revelation 4:10-11
“The twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things and by your will they were created and have their being.”

What matters to these individuals that enter the world mission race is that Jesus is shared with those they encounter. They go on Luke 10 walks, pray for those in need and watch God respond in power.

John, Greg, and Pat discuss the top 5 Middle East events in 2013 according to an article written by Joel Rosenberg in Charisma News. They are…
    1. Syrian death toll keeps climbing amidst horrific civil war & chemical weapons use in Damascus.
    2. Iran beguiles West with “charm offense” as it moves closer to the bomb.
    3. Saudis preparing to purchase Pakistani nuclear warheads.
    4. Egypt’s counter-revolution brings down the Muslim Brotherhood.
    5. Israeli leader declares Bible prophecies coming true in our lifetime.
They continued to discuss how many things that occurred in the Middle East was a result of President Obama’s administration’s influence. There is a narrative that is being pushed in the Middle East that does not favor Israel or Christians in the region. They did discuss that it was refreshing to see that the Egyptian people were not duped and that their recent counter revolution saw what had happened, when the Muslim Brotherhood took power for what it was, President Obama’s supporting terrorist in Egypt. They continue to ask us to pray for Israel as we are seeing anti-Israeli plans pushed upon Israel. Stand for Israel and the Christians in the region as well the Muslims in the region to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
