John, Pat and Chris encourage us to not let your situation influence you but instead allow what you know of God to influence your situation. They share how the Israelites were gripped with fear when they thought they were at the end of their rope and that the Egyptians were going to kill them. In Exodus 14:13 Moses boldly told them not to be afraid and that they will see the deliverance the Lord would bring them. When you face a trial, hardship, setback or challenge don't magnify your situation, magnify God. Don't apply common sense principles to a not common, extraordinary God. Trust God to do what He does, to make a way where there is no way.

John, Pat and Chris discuss how the earth opened up under a bedroom of a man in Fl. The hole was 20 feet in diameter and went down 40 feet. The man's brother said that he heard a sound like a car crash and heard screaming come from his brother's room. He went in the room only to find out his brother was gone and all he could see was a mattress. John, Pat, and Chris continue to share how one never knows when they will have their last moment. Pat, John, and Chris share how important it is to contend for the faith according to Jude 1: 3. They remind us that we are in a spiritual battle and how the devil hates us and attacks us. They encourage us to stay on the front lines, remain on the offense and not to be judgmental of our brothers who have been attacked but instead have mercy and help them too. Proverbs 27:17 says as "iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 27:6, Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses. John shares that instinctively when we think of a wound or something that hurts we automatically think that this is bad and we certainly don't think that pains and hurts are something that should be associated or come from a friend. He shares with us the definition of friendship that that can wound us for good and the dangers of getting close enough for the enemy to multiply his kisses. Wounds may hurt at the moment but if done right we can be healed, these are wounds that can be trusted.

John, Pat, and Chris share how President Obama and some in Congress are pursuing stricter gun laws. Along with the media many citizens feel that they are being deceived into believing that stricter gun laws will curb violence. They continue to discuss the Brady campaign that is currently supporting stricter gun laws and has develop a scoring system that rates each state on a scale from 0 to 100. Those with a score closer to 100 have stricter gun laws in their state and those closer to zero are states that are supportive of the 2nd Amendment. They also share stats from a nonprofit organization called Just Facts regarding gun control and violent crimes committed with guns and strict gun laws that were passed in Washington DC, Chicago and Great Britain and how these laws did little to curb gun violence; in all cases, homicides more than double respectfully.

John, Pat, and Chris share about how several young men in an undisclosed location that looked like the Grand Canyon produced a video of them swinging on a rope like a pendulum off the peak of canyon on a 400 foot rope. They described it as amazing but did not recommend it. They did however challenge us to face our fears and no longer allow fear to torture us and limit us. They continued to encourage us to step out in faith

John, Pat, and Chris discuss how Pat was giving Chris a hard time about getting a new pug. That was of course until Pat was able to see him first hand and Frankie, the pug, melted his heart. They continue to discuss how within 24 hours of having been melted by Frankie the Pug, Pat went out and brought a Pug home to his family.
