They discuss that although President Obama will be speaking at the United Nations and as will Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel. President Obama refuses to meet with Benjamin Netanyahu. Not to mention that of all days the President Ahmindegad of Iran will be speaking on Yom Kippur, The Day of Atonement! Time is ticking as P.M. Netanyahu makes his appeal to the world for agreement of a red line to be drawn regarding the nuclear weapon they are making to launch into Israel. We are living in an accelerated time in which so many significant world events are happening almost daily. The Church must remain awake, watchful, and prayerful and unashamedly stand with Israel. Also mentioned in this highlight is the Clinton Global Initiative, headed by President Clinton and his presence on the world stage and as mentioned in previous VFNRadio programs, it is being said he is called President of the World.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how we as the church have to get over ourselves. Why do we keep bringing ourselves up? When we take into account that the United States of America makes up 5% of the world's population yet America consumes more of the world's resources including everything from food, money to oil. All the while there are prophets not prophesying what God is saying and all this is happening while only eighteen percent of professing Christians actually read their Bible daily, according to George Barna. This is not a world situation, it's a church situation and the answer is when God's people say they are sorry and then accompanying that by living a right life by God's grace and mercy.

John and Greg share regarding the loyalty of believers like the Iranian Pastor who was sentenced to death for evangelizing Muslims in Iran and because he refused to deny Jesus he was kept in prison for three years until the mercy of God intervened and he was released. John continues to share an account in the Bible where King David's son Absalom, who had every reason to be loyal to his father the King, was not and how an unknown many hardly knew in King David's Kingdom in Israel named Ittai chose to be loyal to the King when he didn't have any reason to. They continue to share how Christians in other parts of the world including India make such loyal commitments to Jesus at great personal cost to themselves. They encourage American Christians to follow the example of those around the world who suffer much because of their loyalty to Jesus to do the same.

Greg, John, and Pat share about how this is Constitution Week and celebrating this amazing document that's been around for two hundred plus years. Many have given their lives for the Constitution and God has allowed us to have it. They encourage VFNRadio listeners to get a personal copy, read it and to meditate on it so that we won't lose this precious freedom the Constitution affords us. The Constitution gives us many rights as well as giving us direction on choosing our leaders. We do this through elections. Unfortunately it appears that many people place their vote with whatever candidate appears to be winning but the truth is if Jesus Christ were to run for political office today, without giving any indication of who he was, would Christians embrace his platform and vote for him?

Greg, John, and Pat discuss that it has just been revealed that the Attorney General Eric Holder was part of giving a Mexican drug cartel guns so they can use them in America to create a mindset that guns are bad, to begin a process to limit our 2nd Amendment rights. Then right after the Aurora, Colorado, shooting the government puts out a video on how to survive an armed shooter. This is all being used to create fear. Fear is the devil's weapon to attack God's people. Satan is presently stirring fear "terror" around the world. It's time for the Church to stop apologizing for what the Lord is saying to us. It's time to stop fearing death and serve God.

Greg asks a very important question. One which if answered correctly will have profound influence when it comes to relating with others and our perception of other people. The question is: Who does God Love? The answer is all mankind. People who are like us and people who are not like us as well as people who do good and those who do evil. As Christians how can we hate the one's God loves for God himself is love? We are called to love.

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
