Let’s explore some of the themes that we find in the Mass readings for the 2nd Sunday of Easter.
1st Reading – Acts of the Apostles 5:12-16

John experiences a glorious vision of the son of man who tells him to not be afraid, and says, “I once was dead, but now I am alive forever.”John is commanded to write down what he has seen, including what is yet to come.Jesus passes through locked doors and appears to the disciples saying, “Peace be with you.”Thomas is absent from the meeting, and one week later Jesus appears to him and tells him to not be unbelieving, but believe.Mass Readings – 2nd Sunday of Easter (#45)
