Learning about Parts of speech is essential and interesting in learning basic grammar. Parts of speech deals with the role or part played by a word in a sentence. We know that there are 8 parts of speech in U.K based English grammar. They are noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb, preposition, conjunction and interjection. Articles is considered as a separate part of speech in U.S based English grammar. A noun is a naming word. A noun is the name of a person, place, thing or an idea. 

I am an experienced teacher using podcast for teaching. My aim to start this podcast is to teach basic grammar as easy as possible. Let us discuss about Parts of speech to start with.
