I am a proud daddy today. My daughter has been working hard on her podcasting skills. She was here every Saturday
for 6 weeks straight during our workshops. Today she flies solo and does everything on her own from beginning
to end. Did I mention she's only 7 years old.
I have the pleasure of working at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club for about 12 years now. I have seen many of our members grow, I have also seen many staff members go. We talk about the good old days and what will happen in our future.
Some times we have these life or death situations that come up. These are some of the stories we had. I can't confirm or deny them. My Story is true.
We find out many differences between a movie and a Broadway show. Many members are getting ready to see a Broadway show for the first time this week with our summer camp.
People with disabilities are all around us. Some of the disabilities are born that way and others may have them later in life from a medical condition or accident. Thank you for being so open about this touchy topic.

This summer the Olympic Games are coming
to Paris. Our members give us a break down of some sports they like to watch and new ones that are happening in Paris this summer
Our young summer camp members finally did it and made their first podcast. We have done a few but never good enough to post. Lets remember these campers are the ages of 5-6 years old.
That's it Middle School is over and now time for the real world... High School. This change can really scare you but you can also learn a lot about yourself during these years before you go to college.
We jump into this podcast talking about things that has happened to us throughout the years of coming to Kips Bay Boys & Girls Clubs. Then our special come in and joins us on the podcast.
I am really glad that our members want to talk about how they feel. It is very important to empower our youth and let them have a say so in what's happening to them.
