Podcasting in Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club

It's very rare that we have three staff members at one time in a podcast. This episode is one of those rare moments. We also had Vincent with a Q with us so let the fun begin.

Going to public and state parks in the Bronx is not as easy as it sounds. Some youth do not live near parks or need some transportation to get to these locations. Others have parks near them but do not use them for safety reasons. These are real conversations with 7 year old boys about this topic.

I just had a good conversation about siblings. Some of these boys have a few, and some have none. It's always a fresh view when talking to them. This is group #3 ages range from 8yrs-10yrs old.

I always give all the groups I work with a chance to talk about anything that's on their mind. In this episode young girls of group 2 come up with this topic of BLM. A bit shocking that this is what they are thinking of despite that they are only 7 years old.

I really like how easy and accessible the executive staff of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club has been to me. My Director of Operations Mr. Hollingsworth has always been one to ask how my department or Digital Arts is going, if i need anything, and are the members learning and having fun.
