What's more painful than a whipping from Empress? A pair of episodes centering on Chaud. This week, Metal and Scobb quick dissolve into rage and madness as they get overdosed with our unlikeable rich boy rival. It's worse for poor Lan, who's forced to work as a team with Chaud. As the two boys struggle to take down their last blockade to the N1's final match, we'll learn a little bit of netbattling math and that maybe not every tall ladder is a Snake Eater reference, you piece of shit Metal Gear fans!!

Hoooooo BOY, this is it, listeners. The episodes that have long since been hinted at are here, and you're gonna find out why they lived in such infamy in Metal's memory. This week, a new World Three plot will cause one of MegaMan.EXE's allies to turn against him, but not in a way anyone would have expected. This pair of episodes leave us with more questions than answers about some of our main characters. It's almost enough to distract dub viewers from the fact that they changed the main character's voice in the middle of a two-parter.

Join Metal and Scobb as they come to grips with what transpires and have a brief argument over who the better ojou-sama is between the two.

The good news is we're done dealing with Chaud for a bit, and instead, we're getting a healthy dose of Mesa to recover. Once again, he and Lan will team up against a surprising new pair of foes that will shake the world of NT Warrior to its core...except not really, because we're never going to stop and examine how their existence would change this setting. Instead, Metal and Scobb are left baffled as no one questions anything, and they're once again forced to create perplexing theories to make sense of the half-baked logic of this world. So, you know, it's another week in DenTech City.

Well folks, the time has come! This week, we finally get to have a full taste of Chaud and ProtoMan.EXE's characters. Spoiler alert: They're both bastards. But it's not enough just to leave it at that. No no no, if we're going to assess a Proto Man, we need an expert to help us. So this week, we feature our good buddy Dav, a veritable scholar on the subject of Proto Man, here to tell us why this iteration of him is sometimes considered quite lacking compared to other versions.

Along the way, he'll become reacquainted with the world of Battle Network, enthusiastically discussing all the ways it just plain doesn't make sense. Meanwhile, Metal will become unexpectedly angry with Chaud as he proves himself to be an enemy to the working class and a poor, poor imitation of Seto Kaiba.

Our tournament arc continues, this time with a more interesting pair of episodes, pitting the DenTech kids against two members of World Three. First up is a cat fight between Maylu and Maddie featuring tweaks to the script between the English and Japanese versions, proving that sometimes, dub changes...are better. Next is our evil crush Mr. Match and his boy TorchMan, returning with one purpose....defeat MegaMan. Both he and Maddie are aimed with a dirty trick of their sleeves, one being...way grander than the other.

How will our kids survive? Listen to find out the answer to that AND to learn one of Scobb's many secret, bizarre talents.

Bad news, gang, this time, we're really in the tournament arc. Okay, not quite. First, we start off with NumberMan.EXE on a rampage when Higsby's attempts to prepare him for the Grand Prix go awry. Now, he finally declares "Horny people have no rights!" for real this time. Next, Metal and Scobb struggle to stay interested when we get our first drawn-out battle of the tournament and quickly realize what a mistake they made when they said they'd watch and discuss every episode of this series.

On this week's pair of episodes, we start off with another episode starring Mr. Match, and this time, Scobb and Metal start to remember just what made them so attached to these characters when they first watched the show. After that, with the tournament arc closing in, we get to meet a couple few characters to add to our roster, two of which shall prove to be a hot topic of discussion later on. All this, plus Metal proving herself to be painfully heterosexual, and so much more!

This week, we get to meet another NetOp and NetNavi pair, with said NetNavi being IceMan.EXE, who has....a very interesting contrast of voices between the sub and the dub. Next up, we get another episode featuring our favorite catboy, ElecMan.EXE, as he helps his NetOp steal the smiles from children. What the hell does that mean exactly? Well, it might just explain the real reason Metal has been waiting so damn long on any update on Metroid Prime 4.

Another week, another pair of episodes! This time we get to meet Mr. Higsby, owner of the chip shop in the games, and his NetNavi NumberMan.EXE, who says children have no right to rare battle chips. In episode 5, we learn a lot more about our local fish monger, Mesa, including the fact that he's actually the other secret son of Jotaro Kujo.
