Today’s show features several tracks from Mythical Records‘ new compilation “Odyssey of Rapture Volume 3“. It’s a fantastic mix of Ambient, Contemporary Classical, and Experimental Electroacoustic music composers that “combine chamber orchestra music with modern electronic processing and sound design.”  The album is refreshing and quite unique in its sound, so be sure to give it a listen and purchase a copy for yourself!

That cold blast of icy air filling your lungs right now? It’s FROST 2015, the latest episode of the X3 Ambient Podcast. We’ve got an hour of frosty music culled from our archives to enhance the contemplative, chilly, often solitary moments that the winter season seems to frequently inspire. Enjoy this music with some hard cider, a glass of port, or maybe just some strong black coffee – that and a fire ‘cuz this episode is damn cold!

Excited to feature FRANOU – another amazing artist in a special edition of our X3 Podcast today!

Franou is an electronica musician form Berlin. Her music style is a mix of classical music and electronic music. Music has always been Franou’s passion. In 2012, she began to write her own songs and to express what she feels. Her songs are above all about finding oneself. She was inspired by the synthie pop band AIR and by the trip hop artist Bonobo. In 2015, she released her first album “Lonely Traveller“, which is available now on CDBaby.
