I got to sit down with Eddie Pittman over coffee and talk about his series Red's Planet, his days working for Walt Disney Feature Animation in the 90s, and his time working as a writer and story artist of the hit tv series Phineas and Ferb.

Red's Planet is a series of graphic novels about a girl who gets swept up into outer space and enters a weird world of strange creatures who've gone through a similar experience.

Eddie is an amazing artist and talented writer and I was so grateful he took the time to let me interview him!

I can't say enough good things about Kim. She's doing what I'm trying to do only better. Way better.

Her books are adorable and really funny. It's Hard to Be Good, is a hilarious take on dealing with temptation from the perspective of a dog. And Its Hard to Swim is an equally funny take on dealing with fear.

She's had tremendous success making and selling these books, and I have so much to learn from her. I hope that you get as much out of this episode as I did.

I planned way back in the Spring a little tour of schools in South Carolina reading my kids book Billy the Dragon. But I want to make that tour AS BIG AS I CAN MAKE IT. So I need to ramp up my time spent making connections with people in SC who work in libraries and elementary schools!
