Podcasts – QuadrupleZ

Now we are into an actual media discussion, looking at 2002’s “That 80’s Show.” I’m going to be looking at all 13 episodes over time. I’ll look at high points, low points, potential anachronisms, and decide generally what works, and if it sucks.

I’m working in a sort of digest format for these, so I won’t be looking in-depth at every character, nor every plot point. I hope you enjoy!

I’d love feedback either on the show in question or about this podcast series in general, it’s been a while since I launched a show. [email protected]

This is another crosspost of a “One Idjit’s Thoughts On…” podcast episode. I think we’ll do one more crosspost tomorrow and anyone who wants to come along can either find “One Idjit’s Thoughts On…” or go to dogdaysofpodcasting.com and listen to the master feed of all the Dog Days shows.

Last time, I set out some reasons for going forward with this venture. Today, what has been holding me back sometimes. I know what you’re thinking: I took what I laid out as a single episode before deciding to participate in Dog Days and chopped in two to make it cover more days. Well kindly keep that to yourself.

Yes it’s true, all 13 episodes of “That 80’s Show” are on some free “Tube” site, and I intend to watch them. I’ll share my thoughts on the podcast, possibly so you won’t have to watch them.

This is a crosspost from the new feed. Episode 1 is One Idjit’s Thoughts on Minicasts.

Apologies if you have signed up for Idjitcast, One Idjit’s Thoughts, and the Dog Days master feed, as you’ll get this three times, I will stop crossposting when I get into the main swing of things.

Well, it made sense to start with thoughts on Minicasts, given the nature of what’s being made. We’ll see whether I get long-winded down the road? This is basically an introduction, we’ll get into the meat of the concept later on.

Idjitcast will return to discuss “Baby,” “Thin Lizzie,” and “Own Little World.”

In the meantime, Paul has a new spinoff “One Idjit’s Thoughts On…” which is premiering August 1.

The first several episodes will cross-post to both the new feed and this original Idjitcast feed, to give you a taste of what’s going on.
