Nick takes a look around the southeast district of North Dakota with Fisheries Supervisor BJ Kratz of the North Dakota Game & Fish Department for hotspots loaded with walleyes, crappies, bluegills and perch for the upcoming hardwater season.

Closing out the firearms deer season, Nick reaches out to David Stockdill, Regional Representative for the Mule Deer Foundation to get a status report on ND's muleys and what's new with the organization in terms of habitat and access projects. 

Nick previews "Desperation Weekend" for firearms deer hunters as the season draws to a close and catches up with Trevar Hansen of the Barnes County Wildlife Federation for details on the group's Buck Show set for Mon. Nov. 24 at 6pm at the Valley City Eagles.

Nick previews weekend #2 of gun season and checks in with Rod Haugtvedt, owner of the award-winning Valley Meats in Valley City for tips on getting that venison from field to fork for the best quality and taste. 

Nick talks with NDG&F Wildlife Division Assistant Chief Levi Jacobson on the status of ND's deer herds as the firearms season gets underway.
