There is an important academy in Switzerland that hires Theodore Beza in 1549, but it is not the one you are thinking about.  This academy is not Geneva, but its forerunner in Lausanne.

This week Rev. Matt Powell and I discuss the opening of Hosea 2 and how God views sin.  Not to mention what this means for us, and where this all fits into the gospel.

We take a quick look at 2 Samuel 15 and how hearts were stolen by justice being hijacked.  And the same is still true for us today.  Biblical concepts hijacked and people led astray.

So, we end up in France to take a look at the state of religion in France at the close of the 1540’s and the close of Francis I reign.  Henry II takes the throne and we see what lies ahead for the Reformed or Huguenots in France.
