Podicus Wrecks

This week, I learn the lesson that Christmas specials probably need to be recorded in September or October. But, Scotty and Anthony had some time to discuss some of their favorite Christmas things. Also, I go over part 3 of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's mini-series, Batman: The Long Halloween.

We have a short episode this week as I go through reviews for some recent movies. Those include Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwlad, and Ralph Wrecks the Internet.

It's that time of the year again. Anthony and J. R. are back with their uninformed college football bowl game predictions.

For this episode, Casey recaps and discusses the first half of season 9 of The Walking Dead.

For this year's Thanksgiving week episode, I sat down Casey and Jacob, and made them debate the merits of common Thanksgiving meal items. The items were drawn at random, as well as the position each of them would take towards the item. I then go over part two of Batman: The Long Halloween. We wrap up with a viewing of the "Turkeys Away" episode of WKRP in Cincinnati.

Anthony and I are doing our somewhat quarterly sports episode. We discuss the firing of University of Louisville football head coach Bobby Petrino, and how our NFL rooting interests have been faring so far this year.

In this episode, we're discussing some recent video games we've been playing. Those include Destiny 2 (because it was free), Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption 2, and the mobile game Marvel Strike Force. We also give our thoughts on the announcement of Diablo Immortal at Blizzcon, and the reactions to it.

In this week's episode, we're discussing upcoming movies for the next 6 months. Some highlights include The Crimes of Grindelwald, The Grinch, Aquaman, Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse, Bumblebee, Split, Captain Marvel, and many more. Then, Anthony talks about some of his favorite Halloween movies. Then we wrap up with chapter 1 of our year-long look at the Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale Batman story, The Long Halloween.

In this week's episode, we are having a spoiler-filled discussion about Spider-Man for PS4. Casey and I have both platinummed the game, so we figured now was as good a time as any to discus it.

In this week's episode, I sat down with Dan Thompson, owner of The Zone Comic Shop in Louisville, Kentucky, to discuss what led to him owning the store, what it takes to run the shop, and some of his thoughts on the state of the comic industry. Dan also gave us some insight into an upcoming graphic novel he is releasing, titled The Dominus. The trailer for The Dominus may be found at the link below.
