Why hosting stood still for ten years, and what changes now
For more than ten years, publishing a podcast worked the same way: you record a file, upload it to a host, and the feed carries it to the platforms. In this episode of Podigee Backstage I go back to how that came to be, from the early days of podcasting to the start of Podigee, and explain why I think it is changing now: video, platforms that take episodes through an API instead of the feed, and AI that can do the work nobody wants to do. I also show the assistant inside Podigee and how you can run your podcast from Claude or ChatGPT. Tell me what you want the next episode to be about.
