Podside Picnic

Tai Black visits the Graveside to pay his respects, and chats about Norman Partridge's Stoker-winning novella Dark Harvest. It's Halloween, 1963, somewhere in the American Midwest and if you can beat ol' Sawtooth Jack you can pull your family out of debt, no strings attached. . . or are there?

Kurt and Chris drop by the Graveside to take about the 1990 cult classic Jacob's Ladder. What is going on with Jacob Singer? Listen along as we try to find an answer to this very question.

Graveside Picnic welcomes Chris Burke, who discusses Robert W. Chambers' classic story, The Repairer of Reputations. Can a work of art be contagious? How exactly is our hero, Hildred Castaigne to the royal lineage of the far-off Hyades? And lastly - just how luxurious are the interiors of the Lethal Chambers?

Welcome to our first Graveside Picnic episode, where sometimes our guests. . . come back.

This time, Emma Berquist returns to talk about John Carpenter's absolute classic, The Thing. Come for the isolation, deadly cold, and paranoia - stay for the body horror!
