We cover whether Randall Park's character is even worthy of Ali Wong's, the perks of being a latchkey kid, and how de-aging actors is a delicate dance between believability and just making them look like a narc. Today is the 50th episode of Podstruck! And to celebrate, Elena and Chelsea are rewatching arguably the best rom-com of  all time, 'When Harry Met Sally.' We are joined by writer Julius Sharpe (Family Guy, Ted, Making History) to discuss the magic of Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal and why movie studio execs might have been nervous. We get nostalgic for the lost art of long phone calls, New York City in the fall, character actors like Bruno Kirby who look like real people, plus we analyze why Nora Ephron is the GOAT and how she follows in Neil Simon's footsteps of "swiss watch comedy." Rob Reiner's 1989 classic still makes us cry after all this time, though we do have a few bones to pick including one extremely unconvincing wig. Thanks for listening to our first 50 episodes!!!

We celebrate the 30th anniversary of Clueless with guest Lily Sullivan (Comedy Bang Bang, The Righteous Gemstones) who talks with Elena and Chelsea about why the Alicia Silverstone Paul Rudd 1995 classic from Amy Heckerling stands the test of time. Every line from these Beverly Hills rich kids is iconic, every outfit legendary, and the romance still sparkles between Cher and Josh... even if we kind of wish they'd listened to the early studio note and not made them ex-step-siblings.
