For this particular episode, we’re excited to finally have Ms. Beatrice 'Tris' Njeri hop on and share her inspiring biking journey, reiterating on her love and passionate for bikes and being faced with a dilemma that prompted her to sell her beloved bike at one point in her life.

 Tris talks about the problems facing riders in Kenya and the importance of joining PBAK (Private Bikers Association of Kenya) which acts as a guild for bikers. She also goes deeper to share some of the challenges that she's faced over the years running two motorcycle dealerships  (Tris Motorcycle Dealerships)

  She’s also excited to share that more women are joining the biking sphere, justifying the equal gender enrollment for her motorbike classes. As we delve deeper she shares more on what gears she swears by, but also adds and advocates on the importance of AGATT- All Gear, All The Time.  Consequently, she touches base on the Tris Motorcycle Financing scheme that her dealership facilitates and how it’s making it easier for the  youth to access their bikes.. yeah! Their Bikes because they are the pioneers of the First Kenyan Motorcycle brand!

For our premiere episode of season two, we are honoured to host Mr. Nelson Nkari & Mr. Calvin Mwenda, the founders of two legal consultation platforms notably Legal Tech & Legal Point. In this episode, they start off by expounding more on these platforms, the benefits of Legal Point Web application and how both clients & legal practitioners can benefit from this platform. They also go further to expound on some of the problems the Kenyan Legal framework is currently facing and measures that can be put in place to address these problems. 

Mr. Nelson shares on IP & Patent Registration & Protection and how to best protect one's brainchild; Data Protection Act Policy and how to consequently avoid being a victim of data breach and phishing. Is it advisable and worth it to sue an individual or company when they breach an agreement? 

Mr. Mwenda further expounds on the need for contracts and best practices to follow while entering into legally binding contracts.

They both touch base on mental health in the legal space and measures they've put in place to protect their staff and ensure the environment is conducive for work.  As the conversation gets more personal; they share what they would have ventured into if they were not practising law, and some of the pet peeves that they've come across over the years they've been practising.

They conclude by adding how budding Lawyers can not only benefit from their legal consultation platform and the services they render, but also how they can join their growing team.

DJ Mura stops by the studio to share some of the insights he has come across during his journey into the local music scene.

Dennis Mwaura, professionally known as Dj Mura K.E is a Dj/Music Producer based in Nairobi Kenya. He is an AFRIMA Nominee and one of the pioneers of Bengatronics; a new sound fusing Benga & electronics.  So far, Mura has performed and made appearances in some of the biggest festivals in East Africa, such as, Africa Nouveau [Kenya], Ongala Music Festival [Tanzania], KAN Festival [Tanzania], Bayimba Festival of arts and music [Uganda], Color Festival [Kenya] and recently did a tour in UAE organized by Bengatronics and partners in UAE.

In regards to problems in the music scene, he expounds on the challenges facing musicians in Kenya among them being corruption in the Royalty Collection bodies that have been deregistered due to mismanagement of office by The Kenya Copyright Board (KECOBO)

He sheds more light on some of the mistakes up and coming DJ's make, He shares why Major Lazer & specifically Diplo is a Genius, Why the best era of Music is the one were currently at, what certifies a song as a classic among other conversations in-between.

In this episode, our host Ronny Onkeo is honored to have a sit down with Zimbabwe's finest Actor & Stand-up comedian Miss Munya;  where she sheds more light on what her collective- Sekesai Collective- is doing to empower and create more safe spaces for women in Comedy. Additionally, she shares how she deals with and overcomes stage fright; her favorite Kenyan phrase, and explains the reason behind it being her favorite phrase.

Miss Munya goes on to share some insights for women looking to venture into the comedic scene, some of the comedians she looks up to among other insightful conversations in-between.

For Ep. 007, we meet up with Mr. Robert Munuku, a visual artist, writer, film maker & Founder Mau Mau Arts who goes on to share valuable insights he has come across in his life's journey, speaking on his stint as a financial analyst to venturing into the visual arts sphere.

He goes on to share some of the problems he has encountered in his career as a film maker as well as adding some viable solutions to these challenges. 

Being a film buff, he names some of his favorite movies of all time, and puts us on to what music he's vibing to- a pretty diverse list for that matter!

For Episode 006, we are honored to be in the presence of two Internationally acclaimed & touring comedians from Zimbabwe, Mr. Tinaye Wayne and Miss Munyaradzi Guramatunhu ( Munya )  who have catapulted to fame from Magamba TV’s series, “The Week”  and Simuka international comedy special called "Special Class". Tinaye & Munya demystify some of the problems comedic acts & creatives in general face in Zimbabwe's creative economy, the inspirations that led to them fully venturing into comedy; some of their favorite Kenyan dishes, and even going further to share with us the Kenyan names bestowed upon them!

Mr. Tinaye & Miss. Munya were recently in Kenya; performing at the “Everybody Can Gerrit!!! and Other Random Thoughts” comedy special at Lava Latte courtesy of Moto Republic, Creatives Garage & Kalabars.

In this episode, Mr. Towett Ngetich; A Goalkeepers Youth Action Accelerator, Social entrepreneur;  Queen Young Leaders Award recipient and the Founder of Uthabiti Health joins us in an insightful conversation where he delves into the triggering story that led to Uthabiti Health, his social entrepreneurship journey and the challenges he has faced in the local context & how one can verify the legitimacy of pharmaceutical drugs through Uthabiti Health.
