A poem of the facade that many sufferers of mental health often present to others around them. I for one am guilty of hiding behind a mask of happiness, though slowly yet surely, I am beginning to find me again.
Don’t suffer in silence. There are so many out there that can help ... if only they knew.

At a time when I was feeling down, I sat in my garden just as nightfall was approaching and let the sights and sounds wash over me for a while. It was one of the most therapeutic things that I have experienced.
As a consequence of that particular event, I wrote this poem.
