We are taking a break from our study of the Book of Acts, and for the season of Lent, we are partaking on a journey into the Book of Job. This week, pastor Karla introduces us to the person of Job, and the circumstances of his life:
"As children, most of us are taught right from wrong. Most children learn the difference between right and wrong by the results of their behavior. If you do something good, you're rewarded; and if you do something bad, there's a consequence. This is instilled in us from a very young age, so it's no wonder that as we grow into adults that we expect those same, logical results from our Heavenly Parent."
But what happens when life doesn't follow that logical flow? Join us, as we explore this question of theodicy during the Lent season.
