The Greatest Commandment, given by Jesus, tells us to love God with all of our soul—the entirety of our life and being.

What can you do this week to love the people closest to you to the degree that you are being loved?

Instead of thinking, “I’ll never get there,” simply understand that you’ve got a bit of ground to make up and that it will take some time, but that God goes with you and will help you grow in your love for Him and others by His grace.

Jesus wants to ignite us.  He is knocking at our door and is offering salvation, friendship, true satisfaction, and a love that we and the people in our lives need.  We just have to open the door.
