Kaitlyn Haese earned a bachelor's degree in health promotion and wellness from UW-Stevens Point and is a Certified Wellness Practitioner through the Wellness Alliance. She is particularly interested in the areas of well-being that cannot be physically seen, such as one’s inner relationship with food, movement and emotional health. Kaitlyn currently leads an Employee Engagement Committee that develops and delivers wellness initiatives for 80+ Population Health employees within a local healthcare system. She strives to continuously create meaningful connections and deepen relationships in both her professional and personal life.

Sallie Scovill, PhD, CWP, is a professor in the School of Health Sciences and Wellness at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point and a nationally recognized wellness leader. Since 2007, she has blended her passion for teaching with her role as Employee Wellness Coordinator, engaging students in hands-on projects that have transformed UWSP into a model wellness campus. Her leadership—recognized with the 2025 University Service Award—has guided initiatives such as the university’s transition to a tobacco-free campus, enhanced lactation facilities, and the “Move for Mental Health Walk.” Beyond campus, Sallie serves on the board of the Wellness Council of Wisconsin, partners with community health coalitions and trains others as a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and Well Wisconsin ambassador. Known for creating meaningful impact with limited resources, Sallie continues to inspire students, colleagues and communities to view wellness as a shared mission.

Carrissa Kettlewell is a recent graduate of UW–Stevens Point, in Health Science and Wellness. She served as Vice President of the Collegiate 4-H club and as the Administrative Coordinator for the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), where she helped foster leadership and recognition across campus. Previously, Carrissa served as a Wellness Intern at Skyward, where she focused on employee happiness, workplace culture, and organizational well-being. Outside of her academic and leadership roles, she enjoys spending time at her family’s cabin up north, crafting, and immersing herself in nature through hunting, fishing, and hiking. Carrissa hopes to carry forward her mission to help someone, somehow, in some way by creating meaningful change through compassion, advocacy and wellness-centered work.

Florence Anderson is a Wisconsin-born filmmaker currently attending Chapman University for their MFA in TV Writing and Producing. They got their start in film and video media at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's television station Pointer Studios (formerly SPTV). They served as the General Manager of Pointer Studios for three years, bringing back narrative short films through the Film Society and creating the unscripted entertainment block of SPTV's content. They graduated in 2023 with a degree in media studies and served for one year as a Resident Teaching Artist with the AmeriCorps program ArtistYear. Florence started working on film sets in 2021 as a camera assistant on a short film in Beloit, Wis. Over time, they found a passion for assistant directing. Since starting in the industry, they've worked on dozens of projects, including commercials for AT&T and DocuSign, award-winning short films and an Emmy-Winning web series. They're currently developing their thesis pilot Cat-Gone Cowboy and will be graduating from Chapman in May 2026.

Lily Alsteen was born and raised in Rhinelander, Wis., and graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 2024 with degrees in professional communication and English. She is a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA) and grew up surrounded by Deaf people and culture, shaping who she is today.During her time at UWSP, she was an intern for University Communications and Marketing, worked for Campus Activities and Student Engagement and was Vice President of Sign Language Club. Soon after, she began her career at her hometown TV station, WJFW Newswatch 12 as a reporter. In only one year, she has had the opportunity to wear many hats, serving as a producer and anchor for all of WJFW’s broadcasts. The job has given her the opportunity to meet hundreds of new people and do one of her favorite things, tell stories.

Erin Bagatta graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 2018 with a BA in communication and media studies, and a minor in Spanish. She currently lives in Milwaukee, Wis. and works at WUWM 89.7 - Milwaukee’s NPR as creative manager. In her role she oversees WUWM’s brand, ensuring all visual and narrative elements align with the stations’ identity and audience. She also manages email marketing communication, trade agreements, promotions and community engagement efforts. Prior to joining WUWM in March 2024, she served as creative marketing manager at Radio Milwaukee for four and a half years where she led design and photography for the station, developed strategic marketing plans and managed the station’s community outreach program. While radio and public media span the majority of her career, Erin also enjoys working with clients as a freelance multidisciplinary artist specializing in brand development, custom artwork and photography. Film photography, quilting, felting, illustration, creative writing and filmmaking are her go-to modes of expression. Erin also currently sings and plays synthesizer in Fellow Kinsman, a Milwaukee-based indie rock band.

This episode features two UWSP students, Haley Densow and Olivia Millard.Haley Densow is a senior marketing major and student entrepreneur. She is involved in several organizations that fuel her passion for leadership, creativity and collaboration. She currently serves as the public relations officer for Women in Business, as well as the treasurer and co-founder of Shockwave, UWSP Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team. She is the founder of DormDash, a startup she created to bring faster, more convenient food delivery to college students. Olivia Millard is a senior wildlife ecology and management major with a minor in captive wildlife. Currently she works as the Student Manager of Operations in the Campus Activities and Student Engagement office. Her sophomore year she co-founded the student organization “Students for Reproductive Justice,” and has been president of the organization ever since. In her free time, she loves to listen to music, read books and hang out with her friends.

This episode features Arianna Bartoli and Kylee Houfe, both UWSP Students.Ariana Bartoli is a senior double-majoring in marketing and management. Originally from Italy, she moved to the United States in 2021 and completed an associate degree in graphic communications and technology at Northcentral Technical College before attending UW-Stevens Point. Arianna has leveraged her talents outside of the classroom as a marketing assistant with UWSP’s Office of Continuing Education, and Peer Mentoring and Outreach Coordinator of the Women in Business student organization. Kylee Houfe graduated in May of 2025 with a triple major in Finance, Management and Marketing with certificates in credit analysis and professional selling. Throughout her college career she held leadership roles in several clubs and organizations including president and treasurer of Entrepreneurship Club and UWSP Toastmasters, and administrative coordinator for National Residence Hall Honorary. She also participated as a member of the Women in Business, Financial Literacy Association, Investments Club and Accounting Club.

Hailey Fuller graduated in May of 2025 with a major in arts management. During her time as a student, she served as president and founder of the Arts Management Association and president of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Hailey's determination allowed young professionals to engage in life-changing career opportunities that will follow into their post-graduation occupations. Litzy Gomez graduated in May of 2025 with a major in interior architecture and a minor in environmental studies. Passionate about creating sustainable and inclusive spaces, Litzy combined her academic pursuits with a strong commitment to social justice. She served as the president of the Latino Student Alliance, and social justice coordinator for the Diversity and College Access Department and worked to promote equity and access for underrepresented students.  

Dr. Liz Potter-Nelson is an Assistant Professor of Education Foundations at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where she teaches courses in the School of Education to undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to teaching, Potter-Nelson conducts research in sustainability education with a focus on how educators, at all levels, holistically incorporate sustainability into their courses through the content they teach, and the pedagogies they use. Prior to joining the faculty at UWSP, Potter-Nelson was an assistant professor at the University of Maine at Farmington, and a Postdoctoral Associate in the Environmental Solutions Initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She also has over 15 years of experience in public schools as a high school science teacher and administrator. Potter-Nelson has degrees in Educational Sustainability (Ed.D. University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point), Science Education (M.A.T. Iowa State University) and Physics (B.S. Iowa State University).
